I think maybe he doesn't understand WHY the selling of bites is such an obnoxious thing. Getting a bite wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for all the assholes camping the mob spawn sites in order to prevent people from becoming a werewolf/vampire naturally. The market exists solely because of these scumbag members of the community (they kill the mobs and then turn around and ask you to pay for the bite). By offering to sell a bite, you are basically joining the rank of the shit members in the ESO community. I think it is safe to say, we don't want any of those shit players on this board (you probably aren't, but by selling a bite you are putting yourself in that camp).

From what I've seen it's a free-for-all. I've had people jump in front of me to grab chests when I failed a lock-pick attempt or was fighting a close-by monster that spawned in so I've pretty much been going with the flow and doing the same. Never seen anyone just walk by and leave a closed chest I was standing near.

I've only ran into one player who got pissed because "she" was fighting a bear near a chest across some water and I swam across and opened the chest while she fought. She sent me a nasty PSN message because I stole "her" chest. For what it's worth I apologized. I don't play MMOs normally and had no idea there was any kind of etiquette since I had never seen anyone adhere to it in ESO on PS4.

Yeah. Chests that you pick aren't instanced, but chests at dolmens and the like are.

I've had it happen to me a few times too. Only seems to do it when I dual wield. Never had it happen when I use my bow.

I've had it happen on dual weird too but nother on sword and shield, I just put it down to lag but maybe it's a bug.

scammed seriously you sound silly, there is a market on just about every mmo of some sort. Why use my main PSN to scam on one of the biggest gaming communities out there? scamming is a punishable offense. If GAF is above the market or its own market that's fine I can respect that but please stop it with all that dumb extra stuff. I responded to somebody who asked about how to go about marketing in game if he wanted to sell a few things so why are you qouting me? No justification is needed, I clearly asked for a official ESO vender page with a detailed summary of how it goes so if anyone doesn't agree with the marketing they can just not participate in the thread. I will gladly leave this thread for good. I never posted in here thinking it was some gaf guild thread when it is listed as a official ESO thread.

Well if you wanna be competitive in one-vs-one or one-vs-two, it's best to go in at the highest level possible. As the level itself wont make a difference, but the gear your wearing and the skill you unlocked will. So its best to go in at VR14 for the best advantage. But if you rolling with a group though, it doesn't matter how strong the enemy is. Numbers will over come any obstacle regardless of how strong they are.

Yea you can, but I dont even do writs though. Ive tried to do some and I got like 1000 points, and that didnt even move the bar at all. It did glow showing me that I recieved exp though. So I was like, yea, I aint wasting my materials for that bullshit.

yeah I woulda been pissed if i was fighting the mob standing in front of a lockbox and you strolled on up to take it. But I understand in this day and age its common occurence...but back in 2002ish everyone knew the person who took the box in that situation was a fucking asshole now its just common to do.

There are both dungeons you can do solo and ones you need groups for.

There aren't nearly as many caves as Skyrim, or then again, there might be if you take all of Tamriel. Regardless, there are still a lot of them. If there are 15 caves in an area, only 1 or 2 will be group dungeons. The rest can all be done solo there will be other players running around since it's an MMO.

If you're comfortable with generating ultimate, it's pretty easy. If you can run with multiple werewolves, it's even easier. We got to werewolf 10 the day we got bit.

That's exactly what I plan on doing with my character. Level em up to a high level, get as many skills points as possible, then have em retire from the adventure life and become a crafter by respeccing the skill points and getting all the crafting skills and what ever points thats left can go into combat skills for gathering out in the world.

Those are alliance ranks. Play in PVP enough and you gain ranks. I have no idea how it works since ive never done PVP in this game. But AD has yellow rank icons next to their name and Ebon heart has red and DC has blue.

Ultimate is the resource expended when you active an ultimate ability, such as Werewolf Transformation.

The faster you generate ultimate, the more often you can activate Werewolf Transformation and the faster you'll get to level 10.

Some skills generate ultimate, but light attacks generate it as well, so this is where the concept of weaving comes in.

Had quite a successful day on this today apart from the mags guild quest saying it was level 16, turns out it was 25 when I got in the dungeon!

One question though, I'm level 18 and haven't had any decent one handed weapon drop (I'm a dual weilding dark elf dragonknight) has anyone got any tips on getting them, I seem to get a load of staffs?

So, what's the verdict on this game, now that it's been out for almost a month?

I picked it up at release since it was only $38 at Best Buy after GCU and a $10 pre-order bonus, but then Heavensward happened and I never opened TESO because of it. I'm still well within my return policy, which is why I'm asking.

Now that I'm level 60 and in daily mode for XIV, I'm open to the idea of popping this open, but I want to make sure I haven't been spoiled by a premium subscription MMO or anything.

Also, is voice chat still the only way at all to communicate with players? How has that been in your experiences?
