question about console commands, do they screw with steam achievements?
some say yes and others say no
it may depend on which achievements you're using

Sure, use the LAA loader:Hey, is there a way for us already-patched Skyrim peeps to get the LAA patch still?

Sure, use the LAA loader:

It's a better way to go in any case, since it will be compatible with future updates and can also (optionally) load SKSE.
When Im using the injector my FPS completely crash. I thought there wasn't supposed to be a performance hit? I'm using preset 4 by the way.
I found this in the comment section on nexus.
"Destroys my frame rate. Using a Dell XPS 17 laptop. I run the game normally on High settings with AA turned off and FXAA turned on. I get around 30-35fps at 1900x resolution.
When I toggle this on and off, I go from the 30fps above to 5-9fps.
I have confirmed I have the latest DirectX by following the link.
I have tried versions 1.2 and 1.3.
Load times are unbelievably longer - so much so it almost appears the game is hanging if it were not for the tens of game hints that I get to watch.
The laptop has 4 i5 2.3GHz and NVidia's GeForce GT 555M.
I realize this is a laptop, but it's a gaming laptop and, again, without this mod I get great performance.
Suggestions please? It looks great when I toggle it on. I'd love to be able to use it.
Thanks!"
I'm pretty much in the same boat.
this is the 4gb skyrim mod right?
i just tried it too and the same thing happened to me, i was getting a consistent 60 fps prior to modding and it dropped to 50-55
Nah I should have specified that it was the injector. I go from around 30 FPS to 9.
How do you guys get the weight command stick through saves, i upped mine a bit and every time i load my save i need to run the command again.
Anyone else get a green outline/glow around their weapon? (no its not an enchant)
Most noticeable on a Bow, and only occurs when there's a light source near by, I've lived with it up until now but its a bit annoying.
I'll try grab a screeny later.
You mean the mods from Skyrim Nexus? Yes.Does it work with Skyrimnexus DL's? I think I will wait for the first patch on the manager before deciding to give up on it.
Yes I had that in a dungeon I visited recently. I'm running the game's normal 4xAA. It struck me as odd, but it didn't really bother me...Anyone else get a green outline/glow around their weapon? (no its not an enchant)

I've had a dozen CTDs during gameplay today, after never having a single one before that patch released.
I'm already using the 4GB LAA launcher, to no avail. GJ Bethesda.
Any help will be appreciated.
The glow/outline is controlled by the function "iShadowMaskQuarter=3"
Can mods increase the poly count of models?

OK, there is something wrong with the character movement in this game. It's driving me crazy.
Basically, there is now a rather annoying choppiness to all character movement regardless of framerate. If I'm getting a perfect 60 fps it should be smooth, but it's not. When looking down and walking around there is a jerkiness in the movement reminiscent of a lower framerate. Obviously, when slowdown DOES occur, this movement becomes much jerkier.
What's odd is that this problem wasn't really apparent when I first had the game, but in the past week this has become a problem that has prevented me from enjoying it as the game NEVER looks smooth even when the framerate is perfect.
What exactly is going on here? Is there a fix? Did the patch break something? I'd love to see this resolved but it's not really an easy thing to communicate.
