I think it's been done before, but another good idea:

Having an officlal GAF game sharing pool. The thread could have a main post with a list of games, who has them, and who should have them next. People would have to put in a game to be able to participate. Obviously, we couldn't be perfectly sure about people being honest about it, but the same goes in this thread; you never know who might eBay something or whatever, so it's better to just not think about that stuff. Perhaps it's always whoever sends the game pays shipping each time, or the other way around.

EDIT: I shouldn't have separated the paragraph about which games I'd like to share. I wouldn't want to give these up for good, I'd like to throw them into a pool to keep them circulating so lots of people could play, and on the off chance no one steals them, I might have them again some day.

I'm hoping another game gear pops up because they look really fun ha, I've always loved sega games and a handheld sega console seems like the shit ha

I meant that it was like a rough system of just seeing who got what. Not like, rough = bad. haha.
 
You might be mistaken, I didn't actually have the game, I had dibs on recieving it for free but decided I didn't really need it.

I think he means this is a good thing. Like if someone noticed I got 5-6 items in a day, I'm sure they'll have the good sense to award my requested items to someone less fortunate. Posts like yours help give a rough idea of who has been awarded what.

You have no idea how much I would love to ask for these, but I don't know if I feel like I can.

A sharing pool would be a good idea but some people like myself are generally asking for games they plan to keep. Note that plan is a variable term and can easily lead to a game ending up back here, but you get what I mean.

I didn't mean to say we're "entitled" to anything. Just that it might make some people feel pretty shitty to post something innocently in another thread, then see that there's a new post in here with something they really wanted only to find that it's snatched before the post limit runs out.

it's not a big deal though.

I know these are lame-o games but currently they are the only ones I brought to college with me that I'm willing to part with. I'll be going home to check what else I have in a couple of weeks.

I just thought of something else that might go to a good home. Anybody want Ninja Five-O for the GBA? I know it's a cult classic and shit, but I hate with a vehement passion thanks to the difficulty of the last level.

Who wants it? First reply will have it sent out later this week.

Snidely, Knee, Slasher, Red Blaster, Exodu5, Google, Gamerx, crab shaker, storable prawn, and rahtner.

Also, I need Snidely and Knee to figure out who wants which router. Take your time. No rush. Just wanted to make this apparent.

I'll PM whoever I don't hear from in the next few days.

There would probably be people who would try to take advantage of it, yeah, but if enough care was taken in setting this up, it could be wonderful. Like you said, anyone who wants to take part would have to put a game into the pool (and not just any old $1 NES game...something $10+, or at least a game that someone else wants to play). Everyone would just be allowed to have one game out at a time, and once they were done, they would send it to the next person in line and be able to receive another game.

I've been trying to get Nocturne for a while now, but it's really near impossible to get. I've heard it's a great game. SMT rocks :D.
