Sorry for pleading...but ummm...would you be willing to temporarily "loan" Nocturne? I'd be more than willing to ship it back after being done with it.

i read the post, and it didnt sound like you were offering up anything yet, but it seems that if people see anything resembling the name of a game, they call dibs immediately :p
so the final decision's yours, really.

I asked for DDS2, red blaster asked for DDS1...

I don't remember much else.

StorablePrawn, it's understandable to just keep those games, you never specifically said you would give them up... It's just ppl went crazy, I did too, but I read your whole post ;)

It just seems off to reward people who, well... sort of ignored my post and went right for the titles that happened to be mentioned in it, while the one guy who read the whole thing gets shafted.

ah i understand what happened now. I think your right, it should go to the people who actually read your post since you didn't initially offer them anyway.

I read it :(. That couldn't have been directed to anyone but me, since I was the only requestee above Spinington.

His post said they were offered didn't it? Or did he simply mean he'd add them to the "GAF pool"?

Anyways sorry I didn't mean to sound so needy or greedy. Was just excited at the opportunity to play Nocturne. I'll get over it.

A GAF pool doesn't exist but I think he was toying with the idea of throwin them into a sharing pool or something.


To be honest, you're taking a risk naming a game in this thread because someone will quote and call it if they're interested-- even if you didn't intend to put them out. And yes the prospect of playing any of those games is very attractive. After all, they're review copies-- not like you can sell 'em.
 
OK, one last giveaway before I really hit the hay this time. Another game I'm too much of a weaksauce gamer to have any appreciation for.

Megaman and Bass for the GBA
 
Found my copy of splinter cell for the pc. This game came as a pack in with a video card contains three discs in paper sleeves. I installed and played a few mins. to make sure it ran. Play disc has some wear but nothing that kills play.

I have played the shit out of them, though, and I tend to lose my taste for a game after reviewing it. I just know I'd want to play Nocturne again someday for sure, so I don't want to lose that forever. The other three, thinking on it, I can easily live without. So:

Nocturne: TheExodu5 -- do you want to do a trade for something cool you have, so when you finish the game, we trade back? I know that's against the spirit of the thread, but this is one of my all-time favorite games. At the same time, people need to play it, and Atlus can't be bothered to make their best games available past the first four seconds of release for whatever reason.

Oh, you're totally right. I was mostly participating in this thread when it was moving a bit slower, so I didn't think it through when I made the post suggesting a GAF pool. As things have sped up in here... it should have been obvious that people are getting a bit of a bloodlust going.

I got some cool stuff, though (HL2 and Ep. 1, and some Green Arrow comics!), and I'm not going to play those games mentioned in the post except for Nocturne again, so I'm happy to give them away. DDS2 is a retail copy, by the way.

Aww, you're both offering to give it up even though you were first. It's just like that terrible movie with Helen Hunt and the ghost kid said it would be.
