Cranberries.
I absolutely love cranberries.
I can eat them by themselves, mixed with other fruits. As juice (cranberry juice mixes well with almost every beverage), hell crasins are great too.
I like plums a lot too.
But apples, I really don't care for.

How do you stop the skin of the pit from sticking on the mean? It's like impossible to get rid of that thing brown layer that sometimes sticks there....

Ah! I know what you mean. I usually just spit it out before I get that far. Weird. Talking about fruit makes me miss my GF...
