I think they did a bad job of really highlighting what they are trying to do.
Basically the assassin's creed celebration lasts from now till September and you can follow/participate here:

So it seems they are capping off the celebration with the actual show about the future of the franchise.

Whilst I hate announcements of announcements, Assassin's Creed is tops of gaming for me and, while I haven't been too enthralled with the latest games (overall, especially Valhalla) I play the shit out of them and love them, so I'm in.
