Yep. I am glad so far too. Humble Monthly are the only good indie bundles these days. Not cheap though.

What is "exclusive" exactly? Another shady move to sell another mediocre bundle??

Nah it's easy to cancel. I did it last month then cancelled immediately. Might resub for Alien, not sure.

nope it's a button. just make sure to do it before the plan auto renews.

to each their own. personally I already made almost all my money back for next month by selling alien. and success wise each month I have made at least the cost of the bundle back each month. Granted it takes time and energy to do so so not for everyone.

You don't see the game before their deadline. It was a teaser-like announcement about this exclusive game. Humble Monthly Bundle remains a mystery bundle with only one early game.

Thinking more and chatting with a couple other people, it seems likely that the Mighty Rabbit game will have Steam keys but won't be sold on Steam (like the Double Fine Amnesia Fortnight prototypes). The less likely option is DRM-free now w/ Steam keys added later at release, but this sounds like a shorter term project that was developed for the monthly bundle. Plus, Humble's page says all monthly bundled games are playable on Steam. The first option makes the game exclusive for the monthly subscribers without stretching the "playable on Steam" description on the Humble page.

Awful month for me and I was very pleased with the previous 3 bundles. I already have Dropsy, and of the rest only Broken Age and Volume are of any interest to me.

I have also no intention of playing Ark, so it's annoying knowing that it's a part of next month's bundle, but I won't cancel my subscription for now.

to be fair there could have been a huge spike in sales this month thanks to alien being given to people who order it. basically anyone that wanted alien could have just signed up for the bundle this month to get it plus what ever else is in this bundle this month.

but it could also be lifetime, I doubt they will clearly ever state.

Ah, shame, I just gave Broken Age away to a steam buddy and was planning on keeping Dropsy.

But if someone is in a similar situation and wants Titan Souls I'd really like to trade it for Spelunky or Talos which were the games I really wanted from the previous bundle. Neither Titan Souls or Penarium are my thing, but at least the former has some name recognition.

There are peple who haven't unlocked some of their keys yet, eg. I haven't touched mine Mushroom 11 key. Mushroom 11 went from 4k to 50k, so that's at least 46k for last month. Keep in mind that the number could have gone significantly up for this month as people knew they'd get a high profile game (Alien Isolation) at a good pricepoint.

I'm new to this. This is the first monthly I've done.
