WHITEHOUSE, Texas (CNN/KETK) - Two men in Texas had a rough encounter when a wild buck came after them.

They called the police and the game warden for help after the buck attacked them.

It took five men to restrain the animal, and they had to use a stun gun on the deer.

"He came up and started poking me in my ribs so I grabbed him by the horns and pushed him back and hopped in the back of my truck. He climbed up here and put his front paws on my seat and got my pack of cigarettes and started chewing them. I think the deer tried to switch places, I think he was trying to hunt us!" said Joseph Rose.

The police responding to this incident also suffered some minor injuries. One officer had a broken wrist.

I was driving on a shortcut through the hood, about to get onto the highway to go home. Out of the corner of my eye, under one of the sodium lights, biggest deer I ever saw, antlers everywhere, just straight chillin. Chewing on leaves, watching cars go by, close enough to look this thing in the eye, at night.

There' something wrong about that. This is a bad sign from nature.

Clearly these bastards are plotting against us. We should have never driven off the wolves. They had our backs.

I was staying at the lodge on the rim of Grand Canyon last year. We had walked up a ways to eat and were walking back.
I noticed people were pointing at us and smiling. I turned around and there was a bull elk 4 feet behind us. Never heard him.
I looked up at his eyes and antlers, stepped aside, and he walked slowly past us. He walked down the patch of grass they had and started browsing.
Scared the shit out me turning and seeing a big elk looking down his nose at us.
