On Disk #2 of The Incredibles DVD contains about 4 minutes short called Jack Jack Attack. It shows what actually happens when the family leaves baby Jack Jack with a babysitter.

The short is really, I can only say, INCREDIBLE. It is really beautiful how they show the baby use some of his powers. He can morph into fire, he can fly or float, he can zap through walls, he has laser beams coming out of his eyes.

My daughter is 19 months old and she kept saying "baby" and we had to watch the short 6 times. She was not into the actual The Incredibles movie... too dark and too serious I tihnk for her age... (she has loved every other Pixar movie to date)

Anyways, I hope they make a sequel to The Incredibles and really highlight the baby a little more.

When that baby is on fire... it is so damn cute and cool looking... god, I must be a parent huh?

Does anyone have a picture of the baby Jack Jack on fire?

Awesome. I can't wait to pick this up. Also, I totally agree on the sequel comment. This is by far my favorite pixar movie, not to mention perfect for a sequel! :)

I'll have to wait until next week for this; I'm not near a place to purchase it, and am going away for the weekend. My parents are picking it up in California, will get it when I get back from Edmonton.

Also of note...that means no French involved in the least! Woohoo, take THAT Quebec!

yeah i bought this DVD 2 weeks ago man its a great film and jack jack attack is awsome!

man i really am impressed by pixar, they make movies that tops the one before all the time!

cant wait for the next flick from them

I picked this up yesterday but haven't watched any of it yet. Can't wait to see Jack Jack Attack and the bloopers. :) Gotta love Pixar although I'm not sold on "Cars" just yet. I'll need to see a full trailer for it first.

Strap on your hooker ...
I messed around with the second disc yesterday and found a ton of easter eggs.

At any menu screen that had a light blue BG with schematics running in the background, wait for a bit... a small silhouette of Syndrome's robot will appear in the top right corner eventually. When it does, press right to select, and press enter.

My favorite was the sock puppet digest reenactment of the movie.

Awesome, my Pixar Box Set shipped today. Looking forward to watching it tomorrow. :)

Pixar box set?

Edit: I figured this might be a PAL-only thing, I guess it is...

You don't get 2-disc special editions of each movie with that box, do you?

How in the HELL can they call that ultimate without the Toy Story films? Mind you, they're in the vault, but regardless, that's retarded.

With the special features, these DVDs are great...can't imagine them without it. Even the unjustly unloved A Bug's Life has a fantastic collector's edition.

Yeah... Toy Story I and II are the only Pixar flicks I don't have... when will Disney release these again, is there a date? Bastards...

Oh bugger, didn't bother to check. Ordered from Play.com and they just say look at individual volumes for special features. So unless there's two versions of Incredibles being released hopefully they have the two disc special edition.

It looks as if you're only getting the first disc of each set, though. That would be the problem.

On Toy Story...you'll likely be waiting until 2007/2008 when Disney will release them on the new DVD standard to coincide with the Theatrical or DVD release of...Toy Story 3. *Shutters*

Don't expect much from the bloopers. They're not scripted scenes like the other Pixar films -- more rendering glitches that looked funny.

I really liked the Bud Luckey short, by the way. The deleted scenes are also pretty cool.

I loved the short and I found the movie to better the second time around. I haven't toyed with any special features yet, but I plan to.

I love the scene where the babysitter is sitting with the extinguisher pointed at Jack Jack. :lol

Smells faintly of rancid stilton.
Yeah I just picked it up from Circuit City, for 16.99 and it came with a mini basketball. I can not wait to watch it, havent seen it yet.

I've been blown away by the black and white sketchbook versions of some clips like the deleted scenes. Looks different but just as beautiful as the movie.

Well, I got the DVD.

I love the Jack Jack short, but I wish it was longer.

The deleted scenes were cool. And I love the look and that it was more than storyboard.

I also like the short, Mr. Incredible and Pals which is even better with the commentary.

There was a box set a few years ago released in Australia which had Toy Story 1&2, Bugs Life and Monsters Inc. Doesn't seem to be avaliable any more. The only thing it was missing was the extras disc from the Toy Story boxset.
