The Shadow's Edge (Jackie Chan, Tony Leung, Zifeng Zhang) Trailer | Jackie's first brutally violent film?

Jackie's done more serious violent stuff in the past, First Mission/Heart Of Dragon(1985) springs to mind. But the "harder" end of HK action was always more Sammo's thing.

Also, The Foreigner from 2017 stands out as a good recent example of Jackie at his least comedic.

Jackie already did something brutal and violent when he propelled the career of jaden smith with the karate kid movie...
I think it's more like he fell on his sword to spare a lesser known martial artist from having their career completely sunk whereas Jackie could ride the tsunami with ease :P
