Has 2 been patched yet? Last I played it had graphical issues since last iOS update.

Anyway, was a good game, but when is 3 out? If it's soon, might as well wait.

Then again maybe 3 is an IAP fest, so who knows.

Quit while you're ahead. I've spent $20 in the past week or so. It's criminal that there's no unlimited option, and simultaneously genius.

I kind of agree with this. I was loving the hell out of the game until I started thinking about having a go at some of the event prizes, and while I can get to the top on the first day if I spent hours with the game while I'm doing something else, there's no point after a couple days because it's pretty much pay-to-win. I can only play a few games in the time someone willing to pay gets in like ten. Major buzzkill.

What rating are people at in Zookeeper? I hit 2000 for a handful of battles but I've since sunk back to the 1800s. About 300 matches so far on iPad with 50ish on my phone. It's actually quite possible to alternate between two devices to recharge CP, I should do that next time I get the urge to spend $5.

Gonna pick up Rayman, Jack Lumber, Polara, and maybe Organ Trail. Anyone with a retina iPad needs to get PvZ HD, it's beautiful with the new high res assets, and worth totally worth another play through.

Surprised by how good punchquest is. It's actually an addicting, somewhat nuanced combat system.

Kinda sucks I have to buy it again, but another .99 ain't the end of the world for such a great game. Please remind me to do this if I ever create a popular game for iOS, 2x the pennies!
Wait, you can't re-download the game even if you bought it previously?

Ziggurat is blowing my mind. Well worth 1.99 if you're having to buy it twice.

Also have discovered that I'm prett good at Punch Quest, seem to be beating everyone on my friends list. What's a good score on it?

If it's taken down from the store you can't.

That's not nessasarily true. Well, I can't say for certain for this game but you should be able to download the game from your previously purchased list (it won't show up if you search for it though, you need to scroll through all your downloads looking for it:( Unless the game was taken down for malicious reasons, like it had a tethering backdoor, then you can't.

What the hell. I hate people like you:) You're why these games have such crappy consumable IAP monetization. Stop it! :)

I've got a really fucking annoying problem. Lately, when I want to download something from the app store it says: "Store not available". I have to wait for like five hours and then it HOPEFULLY works.

What gives?

Go to your device settings, click on store, sign out, then sign back in. That might fix it.

Aw, what the crap. Chinatown Wars HD is on sale at $.99, but it isn't available in the venezuelan store and my card doesn't work outside that region. =(

Not sure how newsworthy this is, but Shadowgate is coming to iOS to and it's getting a remastered version. It's on Kickstarter right now:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zojoi/shadowgate

where they've confirmed they'll be working on an iOS port of the new remastered PC version afterwards. Don't bother with the iOS version just for kickstarter because it's primarily a PC kickstarter :P But if you want both, the 60$ tier gets you both PC and iOS version..

Thanks for the heads up. Grabbed Organ Trail and The Room.

Haven't heard anything about The Room around here, but considering its been at the top of the charts for so long at $5 there must be something to it.

It's amazing. Play it in bed in the dark with headphones.

So, as I've got an iPad mini on order I've decided to start gathering some games.

So far I've got:

- Arkham City Lockdown
- Burnout Crash
- Crazy Taxi
- Crow
- Cut the Rope HD
- Dead Trigger
- Ghost Trick
- Infinity Blade II
- Jetpack Joyride
- Jurassic Park Builder
- Plants vs Zombies HD
- Punch Quest
- Rayman Jungle Run
- Real Racing 2 HD
- Squids Wild West
- Super Hexagon
- The Room
- Tiny Wings HD

A mix of free and paid apps, but that whole list cost me less than £21 which is.. quite ridiculous when you put it as a list like that. Also tempted to add both GTA3 and Chinatown Wars while they are £0.69 as well. How are the GTA3 touch controls? Also, are there any particularly good cave shooters on the app store that I should check out? I feel like I'm missing something along those lines.

I don't think I'd reccomen Chinatown Wars,it's so old an out dated it doesn't even support multitasking.

Des anyone know the best way to take down torches? I have the quest to break like 18 torches in a single game, I can barely get one or two...

What worked for me is using punch or block to slow down to almost stationary under the torch and then use uppercut and keep hammering that button over the torch. Seems like it took about three hits.

Do in-app purchases like Ghost Trick (which I already own) ever go on sale?
Shantae has a full game IAP unlock that was on sale once (it was before they released the separate "full version" app), it's possible but doesn't seem to be a common occurrence.

If anyone is interested, I can confirm the latest update if Elder Sign Omens solves the unlockable last character bug.

Just defeated Ithaqua and saved Ashley, unlocked the very last character.
Still, a freaking awesome game.

BTW, Battle Academy is simply great...even the free lite content will keep you busy a lot.
If invited by someone with the full game, you can play free async multiplayer with the lite.

Ziggarut seems cool so far. The Room is great, I had a ton of fun playing through it with my girlfriend. Currently stuck at the part with the sword but it's been really great. Maybe a little short for $5 but $2 is a steal. I'm excited to check out Cthulhu, loved Penny Arcade 3. I picked up PvZ and regretted it as soon as I opened it, I played the shit out of that game on my old 3GS and just have no interest in playing through the early stages again. It looks great on iPad though, and I'm sure I'll want to play it again at some point. Great game but $7 is pushing it a little.

What game is this? And is it iphone compatible?

Also, anyone play Guardian Cross? Is it worth even playing?

That just seems odd. Their current pricing structure basically means you are paying $35 for the iOS version.

Just wanted to chime in with the praise for Polara. 'Ikaruga meets Canabalt' is the quick description for those who have not yet heard of it. It's got to be one of the very best original iOS games I've played.

It's amazing. Play it in bed in the dark with headphones.

Haven't been using my iPad much lately, but I saw The Room on sale and bought it on whim. Really liked it although I wish it were longer and a little more difficult. Kind of reminds me of when I used to watch my brother play Zork Nemesis when I was a kid.

I got way too many iOS games to play so I promised myself I wouldn't be buying anything for a while because there's no point, but I couldn't resist all the quality sales. Just bought Polara, Rayman and Organ Trail.

Beat Bastion earlier today btw, amazing game. Still going to go trough the NG+ to max all weapons, complete the memorial, achievements etc.
