Oh boy, another Comedy Central show for a comedian I like that probably wont go anywhere. I'm still kind of bitter about what happened to Demetri Martin and Jon Benjamin.

This guy was hilarious when he came to my campus a few years back. I hope it takes off but I'm pessimistic due to how many comedians get shows that Comedy Central dumps.

This PR blurb just screams trying too hard.

Google it; these posts aren't helpful.

I like him as a comedian but I'm unconvinced he's going to keep this thing for more than one season unless there's some schtick that works well in this setting or unless he has some seriously awesome writers. I was hopeful for JBHAV but it didn't work well as a show, despite HJB being hilarious.

I'll watch it again. Didn't much care for the monologue, but once it got past that it was decently funny. I liked the "Sacred Cow" bit the most and him cracking jokes about cancer to support group and they were laughing. Having a disease myself the only way you can get through this thing is with humor. The people who don't have the disease and seem to get all uppity when you make jokes about something like that is something I can't stand. Which is what I think was the whole purpose of the bit.

There were a few good jokes here and there, but his opening "Dave Letterman"-style bit and the guests just didn't flow very. I really didn't enjoy his delivery on some of the jokes.

It might get better, I'll give them some time to reign in it but it's not boding well.

Also, he's laughing way too much at his own jokes. Isn't that a fairly serious comedy no-no?

It's part of his schtick. Having a big dirty grin smiling at you or seeing him break adds to the smut.

The show was quite a bit better than I was expecting. A few flat spots throughout but I laughed all the way though. Latino Voices.. omg.

I like it, but getting a bit tired of shows that skewer pop culture. Seems like every comedian is getting one. The Burn is sick as hell, I love the way they just talk mad shit to each other.

During the Anthony part I was expecting a coffin or body bag. Ho-hum.

Next weeks panel is John Mulaney and TJ Miller.

I love Jeselnik and have seen him live a few times. I'm just not a huge fan of the show. It's kind of funny and the panel parts are pretty good. But overall I don't think it will last. I might tune in every once in a while.

dude needs to get more comfortable with his panel guests. the writing is of course strong, but the off the cuff stuff is a bit weak sometimes.

also loving the huge outrage over the shark bit.

Just can't get into this show, it feels so awkward and it all seems so forced at trying to come off as edgy.
It's ok but sometimes it feels like he's trying to be Daniel Tosh. Which I don't need considering I watch Tosh.0.

Saying that, the Casey Anthony stuff last week was great. Terribly morbid but great.

Still loving this show. I like both of the comedians that were on this week but I don't think they were ideal matches for the show. The pairing of Kroll and Oswalt is still my favorite.

I can't wait for Jason Mantzoukas next week.

Shame that St. Clair wasn't available. Okay episode this week. Expected more on Ebert after Jeselnik's tweet last week.

Abby Elliott and Pete Holmes next week.

Funny episode last night.

Last one next week, Reggie Watts and Kumail Nanjiani panel.

The dreadful looking Schumer show is going to take over that time slot April 30th.

My god this guy drives me nuts. Really dislike his slow speech/delivery and his little swagger.
I can't take super good looking comedians seriously. Something about them annoys me. Male and female.

The bold part made me laugh more than this guy's show.

I have continued to enjoy every episode. I have heard virtually every single one of these comedian on podcasts so it is always a bit strange to now see them talking in person. Pete Holmes especially it is a bit weird in person.

Lol, wut? Resentment is weird.

Nice end to the series.

It turned out much better that expected. If he wants to do another season hopefully he'll get the chance.

He's pretty funny.

Personally, I don't find any of it offensive, but the show itself can be kinda boring sometimes. Especially his guests.

Glad the show is back. It feels like the off period was pretty short, so hopefully the material stays strong. Norton and Schumer tonight should be good, and I can't wait for the Holmes and Maron episode. Between this, Inside Amy Schumer, and The Burn Comedy Central is doing a pretty good job with their Tuesday nights.

Yeah the return was great. The panel going back and forth about how they'd kill an infant made me wince a couple times, but they were hilarious.

Pretty decent episode last night. Sharknado and the satanist bits were fairly naff but there was plenty of laughs in the other bits.

Should be Adam Pally and Casey Wilson guesting next week.

Good episode last night. Wilson was a little flaky on the panel but there were good laughs throughout.

Should be Doug Benson and Rob Huebel next week.

Yeah last weeks episode fell kind of flat for me with Koechner and Nanjiani. Wilson was definitely reaching to search for punchlines last night, but Adam Pally was really funny. I wonder if Anthony had to fight to keep in that "Are Sasha and Malia budding yet?" joke? Search and Destroy is probably one of my favourite bits on the show too.

I've come around on the show as he's found his stride. Good stuff.

BTW, skip the interview he did on the BS Report with Bill Simmons this week. Bill talks over him constantly and really doesn't let him even answer anything or tell many stories.

Bit of an iffy show last night. Few laughs but Attell and Rivers were a bit of a road block.

Should be T.J. Miller and Eric André next week.
YEAH!
