Y'all ready for GLOW?
I hate you all. Especially Ratsky.
I mean, I'll watch it, but more out of a sense of obligation to keep up with stuff than anything else.

Pft, forget what Netflix is dumping this Friday. USA premieres Playing House: S3 Friday night and then the whole season is available on-demand on Saturday.
Y'all ready for GLOW?
Also the fact the episodes are around 30 mins helps out a lot.
Shit, really? That alone has increased my hype 10 fold.
I read in between 29-35 mins from Fienberg's review

The Mist TV series premiere is tonight. Anyone going to watch it?
I hate myself for grouping two female led shows together like this, but I think Orange is the New Black might have killed my hype for GLOW. IDK. I'm kinda burnt out on Netflix shows in general. The ones written for binge just bleed into each other and sometimes don't really have distinctive starts and finishes in the episodes. They just slap a cliffhanger on the end. Makes it all look incredibly cheap when I'm seeing shows like Better Call Saul do their thing.

And I think it would be smart for most Netflix shows to have shorter seasons. For example, Better Call Saul is an extremely well-made show because it's only ten episodes per season. (versus 13 episodes of House of Cards)
Lack of Ratsky in the Glow thread bums me out, show was fantastic.
Come back to the light Ratsky.

Ack, too much TV. I was looking forward to a brief respite before a few more shows kick off.
So in the summer doldrums (hah) why not spend some time catching up with the best tv of the year so far? Because TV is incredibly creative right now, unlike the headlines of these articles.
You should!Out of the ones I haven't seen on those lists (and I've seen a bunch), the only one I actually feel compelled to catch up on National Treasure.
Laugh tracks doesn't mean that something is bad.what the fuck at all the one day at a time love? isnt it a laugh track comedy? :/
also I thought the keepers was a documentary, its a show?

Damn, I was hoping Gypsy would turn out alright. Naomi Watts desperately needs a win right now. Shut In and The Book of Henry have been her most visible roles in the past year and they both got savaged by critics.

Twin Peaks!
Has that revival been good? I sneak peeks at reviews and they're all just people trying to piece the show together
Uproxx is giving me 404:s no matter what page I'm visiting. Dammit, I wanted to get my fill of "The post-apocalyptic adventures of Bob Benson".
Oh.
Looks pretty good, reminds me quite a bit of Inside No. 9... like it's almost the exact same premise as Inside No. 9. The only difference being that Inside No. 9 isn't confined to a specific room but rather behind a door marked 9.Following the tease, here's the official trailer.
Oh yeah. I forgot she was involved with that. Has that revival been good? I sneak peeks at reviews and they're all just people trying to piece the show together
Its the best thing I've seen all year, on film or tv.
and naomi watts is hilarious in it. shame her movie roles are kinda crap as of late though.
also Snowfall is getting really mediocre reviews but I still feel obligated to give the pilot a shot. I've enjoyed a few john singleton movies and the subject matter is pretty interesting as well.
