Why not Sambal Olek?At what point can we all join hands across the globe and replace ketchup with sriracha worldwide?

At first I was all like ' fuck you' but then I read your post and it convinced me so well doneKetchup kinda sucks. What a lame condiment. Isnt it also the most popular condiment?
I cant think of a single food item I'd put ketchup on where hot sauce or even ranch dressing wouldnt immediately be superior. Even so, if I were to use ketchup, any time you order food which pairs well with ketchup, they give you more than enough ketchup packets so you can toss em in a ziploc to store in your fridge.
Theres also a lot of sugar in ketchup and sugar makes you fat. I actually have a bottle of ketchup in my fridge which I bought to appease my stupid friends who are always asking me if I have any ketchup and roll their eyes when i offer them packets. If i were a restaurant, they wouldnt react in such a rude manner. Be grateful i have packets, you swine.
Every time I open my fridge and see that bottle of store brand ketchup I get just a little more irked that I caved to peer pressure. My friends just use the packets they get at the restaurant anyhow.
Also, people who say "catsup" are weird, and I wouldnt trust them around animals.
What are your thoughts on ketchup?
Ranch?
I like Ketchup on grilled cheese sandwiches and scrambled eggs. Hot sauce would work for the later but not former. Ranch for neither.

You're bitching about the sugar in ketchup making you fat......have you ever looked at the nutritional information of ranch?
1 Tbsp of ketchup is 15 calories, vs ranch which is 60+ calories per Tbsp.
Sounds like something a fatty fat person would type

Why don’t you start and see where it leads. Can gaf even make exciting-to-talk-about threads?
Calories and Carbs (Sugar for the laymen), that's what gets you fat, not just the calories, bub.
Nah, calories in vs calories out is 95% of the battle
Sugar gets you hooked, calories make you fat. Get it straight.Calories and Carbs (Sugar for the laymen), that's what gets you fat, not just the calories, bub.

The only thing that goes with a grilled cheese sandwich is grape or strawberry jelly!
Ketchup?! Blasphemy!
Jelly?
Believe it or not, that's a thing.
I mean i get PB & J, but cheese and jelly......Believe it or not, that's a thing.
Jelly?
Yes. Because of the toasted bread. Trust me, I didn't think it would taste good but it does!
A Monte Cristo sandwich is typically served with jelly and it's just a grilled cheese with ham.
There's so much sugar in Sriracha, bro. I recently gave it up because of that. A diet with no added sugar is the way to go.At what point can we all join hands across the globe and replace ketchup with sriracha worldwide?

Homemade Sriracha SauceYeah, honestly, the nutritional label is confusing. Its says 0g and 0 added sugar per teaspoon but sugar is the second ingredient on the bottle.
I've googled and its supposedly keto friendly. I maybe put it on one dish a day. But yes, I know where you're coming from. They use that small of a serving size for a reason. *sigh*
Homemade Sriracha Sauce
1 pound fresh hot red chili peppers (Padron, cayenne, serrano, jalapeno, cherry bomb, Thai)
1 pound sweet red peppers, seeded
4 to 6 garlic cloves
1 1/2 cups raw apple cider vinegar or coconut vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 to 3 teaspoons sea salt
no sugar. you're welcome.
pretty muchI just toss that in a blender or something?
"I put that shit on everything."Fuck it, I'll just start using Frank's Red Hot again
Huh, I don't have a bottle handy anymore but when I read my label it had a substantial amount of added sugar per serving listed on there. Maybe it's different where you are (or they have different labeling laws idk).Yeah, honestly, the nutritional label is confusing. Heres the bottle from my fridge. I had a hunch it was too good to be true. Sauce is sweet as hell.
