That's hilarious and sad. Mostly sad.

Namco really doesn't give a fuck about its international audience, don't they? How many fucking years has it been already, and still no home ports?

They could have easily did nothing instead of taking the game to places and hosting qualifiers if they didn't care.

Evo 2014 was when T7 was first revealed.

Take time to create single player content and polish the game - don't care about the audience
Release barebones game with no single player content - stop focusing on the FGC

Or:

Give early access version to FGC,
Release full version when it's done to cater the rest of the audience.

SFV did nothing like this.SFV sold the early access version as a full priced game aimed at everyone.

EDIT:
Even the casual outlets are telling SFV to rebrand and re-release itself to the public.

A rebrand and rerelease isn't going to magically fix SFV's problems.

Back to Tekken though, it's not like people are still playing Vanilla Tekken 7 today, there have been pretty solid changes to Fated Retribution.

Also a two and a half year window from reveal to release isn't that big of a deal.

No one said it's magic. Just something to help.

No you're completely incorrect here. Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Chicago, Australia, and every other area except Japan/Korea that have arcade cabinets are still playing Tekken 7 vanilla.

You're speaking for yourself here. For the past 2 years a small portion of the fanbase got to experience and completely discover the game while the rest of the world will get to have their sloppy seconds 4-5 months from now. The Dark Souls community fumed all over the internet when DS3 got a week release advance on Xbox. No try to imagine what a fanbase feels getting the game 2 years after one selection of people exclusively got to play it.

Namco make god money from arcade and home release affects that, so the release strat will stay the same

They can make money off the rest of the world simultaneously. No one is saying to completely forsake the Arcade revenue.

Having fun watching it when it's not buffering, which is too often and really frustrating. Seems to be a thing that happens too often when trying to watch Tekken.

It's been fine for the most part, it started freezing in the last hour but it seems good now after they had to restart it.

It's obviously been a long day with a lot of tournaments, but you could really tell when the election results were starting to sink in.
