The Last Guardian re-revealed at E3 2015! Up Yours Y2Kev!

I mean sure for some people. But I still feel like the reaction here would be vastly less if this had first announced last year.

Most people who wanted to this game to be 'rerevealed' is because they played and liked the 2 games ( or either one ) by Team ICO.

I don't think the 'amount' of reaction has anything to do with the time taken for it to be shown again. After all, there aren't much difference between the 5th or 6th years.

I liked the calling. I found the boy cute.

It does look a bit dated, sure, but Ueda games aren't graphical showcases in the traditional sense, and have always had this sort of low res, ethereal, divine look. It's nice to me.

2016 is gonna be so good. You know FFXV will drop then. 2 overdue games in the same year. Get. HYPE!

I feel naked with this avatar. I feel like Cersei walking down the path of atonement with the lady behind her saying "shame" constantly.

I should of believed.

i don't quite get the criticisms over the visuals.. i mean did you fucking look at how well the huge griffon is animated? it's so obvious they have spent most of their effort on that, all the different interactions with the boy and with the surrounding environment.

and i love it. i've never played anything even remotely like this, where you go through a mystical game world accompanied by a giant beast.. after all these years it still seems like it could be a really magical gaming experience, IMO.

ICO and SotC weren't the best looking or the smoothest games either, but they were so unique there was nothing else like them, and there still isn't.. for me this is absolutely perfect after playing through so many open-world RPGs and first-person shooters (not that there's anything wrong with them).

My first reaction was, "wow that looks last gen...." Then I remember how happy I was when Earthbound Beginnings was announced yesterday. So if you've been looking forward to this, good for you! You waited for a while, and dammit you deserve it.

It exists, but it only looks okay. It doesn't really stand out among the throngs of artsy games that have come since Ico and SotC.

I think people who are disappointed would have found something to pick at regardless :/

Welcome home, Y2kev, welcome home!

It's cute. :D

No disappointment here, I've expected a ps3 game to ps4 which is a mix of ico and SotC and it's exactly whati t looks like.

Also lol at the people who are annoyed by the shouts. Never play ico, for your sake.

I was shaking when it was shown. After all this time...it finally happened. and ueda was here

I am interested in playing the game. It definitely looks like Ueda's repertoire, or Rain, or other games I have enjoyed.

That being said, this was a warts and all reveal. My wife asked me "is this a PS3 game?". Well, yes, it is, really. Lots of little animation hiccups and collision issues. Clunky puzzles. Bad textures. This is absolutely the product of 8+ years of stop-start, cross-generation, painful development. Maybe it'll be a mess, maybe it'll be a relic.

I hope it'll be good.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I can appreciate being in cloud-nine and all over the reveal but I feel like sooner or later people will have to face the very real possibility that the game might not have necessarily been a superb thing in the making, just another good game that happened to have a very protracted, troubled development.

And I think that's fine. As long as the game is good that's all I can ask for.

This definitely has all the worrying elements I'd assumed about a game conceived 10 years ago about an escort mission/unreliable AI partner.

Looks pretty though!

I agree, the colors and feel are very ethereal and I like the art style a lot. It's definitively Ueda style.

Thats bullshit - its 6 fucking years since the reveal and looks like its in 480p and still not out till 2016.

Are you for real?

Unbelievable. I get it people are excited for it to be finally coming out but come the fuck on ffs....

I'm out.

I liked what I saw. But I'm still unsure about gameplay. It seems like you have to script everything to make the creature fit into.

Genuinely happy. Can't believe they led off with it. Not sure how people could be disappointed. The game and its graphical style and gameplay have been known for a while. It's going to be the type of game fans want. It'll deliver.

This game looks absolutely stunning and majestic. I'm really confused by people saying they hate the kid and his voice. He sounds like Link, who no one complains about?
