I've reason to believe there is a 'lock to 30 fps' option for those who like their games gimped.

Can't say much beyond what I've said to be honest. I'm not privy to much and I'm honestly not willing to say more without firsthand knowledge. I'm confident what I was told is the truth, but their could be other relevant factors I'm not aware of.

They prolly just don't care to put out any gameplay footage IMO, they prolly think that no matter how good it looks people will just complain, I don't blame them. The "what the hell is this crap, it looks the same as the ps3 version" narrative is worse than the "why have they not shown any gameplay" one.

I would love there to be, bu I seriously doubt there will be more. Both Stratley and Druckmann made it seem like Left Behind was the only story dlc. Which is really the only story DLC Naught God has ever done or at least that I can think of.Guess we have to wait for the sequel

Yup! I think people are going to be very surprised how popular this remaster ends up becoming on PS4. Others know it and are just pissed already.

Gotcha, yeah. I think there's gonna be a big marketing rollout starting within the next few days but it's gonna be TV and website ad focused; no comparison videos before Digital Foundry and such gets ahold of their own and no footage other than little cinematics cuts like we've been seeing.

Local games shop has the game in stock, just received confirmation email. Not 100% sure it's true although employees are stating it is, also the store has a history with Sony games arriving early (some people got their Uncharted 2/Killzone 2 about 2 weeks prior to launch). Unfortunately for some years they started to respect the launch dates so no hopes for early hands-on.
