Meltdown? If people seriously melted down over it they are a bit too invested I think.

My intuition tells me the DF thread will be one for the ages though no matter what.

If one thing, I'm really glad they decided to let the season pass owners get all the weapons/skills for free. I would have hated to pay for those again

No way! This would totally ruin the immersion and goes against everything this game stands for. I mean, how could they possibly be fat when there is barely enough food to stay alive. This kind of game is intended to be very realistic!

People who aren't invested
or interested
in this game will go crazy if it isn't 60fps at this point. I wouldn't really blame them either, ND seems to like their teases. They'd be asking for a shitstorm if they didn't follow through.

It is pretty lame that there won't be an option to buy it all in bulk for those of us that didn't buy the pass on ps3. I preordered the game digitally on ps3 but skipped the season pass because I wasn't interested in the MP at the time. After reading all the stories about MP here I am definitely gonna give it a shot though. Hopefully they do release some kind of bundle.

So guys, help me out here.

Seeing as all the gore has been censored out of the European version I'm considering importing it. However, seeing as it comes with all that DLC, how big is the chance that it's all on the Disc? Cause as far as I know I can't play downloaded DLC from another region on my EU account, right?

Makes me glad I bought it. And they probably will release it together, doesn't make sense if they don't.

That is kinda what I am thinking too. If not I will just pick an outfit I like most and buy that. I think I saw in one of the preview articles that the weapons and skills only totaled around $13-$14. I dont really need $50 worth of outfits, lol.

If it's on the disc you can play it on any account regardless of region. You just can't download DLC from PSN and play it on a region it wasn't intended for.

Good point. It could also be some sort of bizarro TLOU. Maybe instead of limited food the only food they have is twinkies

but an unlimited amount. the supplies you search for could be insulin and needles and instead of bandaging yourself you could lift up your shirt and give yourself insulin shots to heal.

Cool to see this game dominate the conversation on this board again. Makes me look for to spoiler discussions all over again when a brand new batch of folks get to play it for the first time.

Is any one else concerned that the PS3 assets will suffer being rendered at 1080p? That game was awash with fine detail. I just wonder if they will look cheap and out of place in the remaster if theyre using the relatively downgraded PS3 textures

If anything, just pick the weapons and skills that you find best and buy those.

textures have been updated. Not sure if every single one, but you can when watching a comparison.

That is the best idea. I may not even like the MP anyways. It sounds awesome but I don't usually have enough dedicated to to play MP games. I love SP because I can pause and walk away as regularly as needed.

How long would you say the average round lasts on TLOU?

Each match is 15 minutes. But it all depends on who is playing. Myself for example play with friends who are really good so on average I would say between 6-8 minutes against a normal team, but if it's another group like mine it can easily take the entire 15 minutes.

Depends. Survivors, best mode IMO, is best of seven rounds, no respawn, with each round at a 5vminute time limit. Usually rounds end before 5 minutes and if you smoke or get smoked 4 in a row it is over pretty quick.

Supply Raid is a single round where your team shares a pool of lives and it is timed at 15-20 minutes or when a team is out of lives.

Interrogation is probably the most consistently long one.

Well that's not so bad. Not like a round of BF2 at least. I hope I can get into it because watching some of the YouTube vids on MP were really awesome and tense!

Aww cool, thanks for the additional info! I think survivors sounds like the most fun but I will give them all a shot.

Be sure to at least play a 5 or so full matches of survivors because that is where the real tension lies. If you get a good team you get a great rush from coordinating and overtaking the other team.
