That they're hiding something negative about the game, the fact that they were really confident about the original release proves it.
From what I have been seeing from the leaked images the gap between the two versions is not that big, you will need to see them side by side to see the differences. The biggest is the IQ and the performance, which are really hard see in a compressed stream.
Personally for someone who already played the game, for that price its simply not worth it. The game should have been half the price for me to be even be interested, I would recommended a few months until the price drops substantially.

Really? To each their own, but I think the bump in clarity is staggering. Wall/Ground textures are now clear and popping with detail. That alone sells me on it. Add in particle effects, shadow resolution increases and 60fps, and I think you have a damn good package there. Sure, we don't know if the game will have dips (I don't think it will have anything noticeable), but if it maintains, 60fps has the ability to completely change the experience. I'm extremely psyched and can't wait to shove this bad boy in my rectum.

Yup same here. ND probably doesn't even know how to code on the PS4 properly so that's why there is no footage. It probably looks like a PS2 game. You guyz gun be so mad on Tuesday.
I have an alternative theory.
Naughty Dog forgot to compile the game with the correct compiler flags (missing -funroll-loops for example) and it's thus delayed,and because a OT can only go up 7 days before launch the OT isn't up yet because we're more than 7 days away from launch.

My uncle (who works for Nintendo) told me that it's getting a Wii U port in early 2015.

UC4 is already very deep in development, if anything this would put TLoU2 at risk(which it won't TLoU was already profitable). Always take rumors with a very large grain of salt, no matter the source.

Holy shit, do they ever. We've had a number of them come and go in just the short time I've been here, but only a few have turned out not to have their heads stuffed up their respective asses. Shinobi (GAF member, posts in this thread) seems legit. He doesn't claim to know everything and will straight up tell people on Twitter "I don't know." There are also dudes with crazy asses, guys that don't sleep at night and at least one demon that come up with the goods on a regular basis.

Sadly i don't see the 30 fps mode getting any special IQ effects, it would be awesome if they included better aa, maybe tessellation and other effects. 30 fps mode could be perfect for photo-mode screenshots if they added some effects.
