'The Last of Us' Season 2 Gets Official Premiere Date
HBO has officially announced the premiere date for The Last of Us Season 2, which will star Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.

They'll probably rewrite a lot of scenes for her to be more agile or vicious than brutish. After watching Apple Cider Vinegar, I have no doubt she'll pull off anything thrown at her (acting wise). She is a goddamn powerhouse with a bright future!Dever is as tiny as Ellie, and should have really played Ellie sine she looks more like her from the game.
I wonder how they're going to alter Abby's brutish stature from the game, in the show's petite frame.
Oh she's going to be an amazing Abby. They'll probably rewrite a lot of scenes for her to be more agile or vicious than brutish. After watching Apple Cider Vinegar, I have no doubt she'll pull off anything thrown at her (acting wise). She is a goddamn powerhouse with a bright future!
They addressed it in a recent interview. They're not going to have her be 'brutish'. Neil Druckmann says part of the reason they wanted Abby to be an imposing & muscular character was to vary gameplay between her and Ellie. Less of a problem in a TV series.Dever is as tiny as Ellie, and should have really played Ellie sine she looks more like her from the game.

Chernobyl reference?Absolutely horrendous casting end to end.
But otherwise an OK show. Not great, not terrible.
All could have been solved, if Abby were just a dude from the get-go then. More believable too. They addressed it in a recent interview. They're not going to have her be 'brutish'. It's impossible for her to be Abby to the fullest extent, because her physicality is the polar opposite of the character in the game.Oh she's going to be an amazing Abby.
I'm not a Part II hater, but that they couldn't find a good enough actress north of 5'6 and pay her a low 7 figure sum to bulk up is the ultimate proof that Abby's sheer physique in the game was ridiculous. They addressed it in a recent interview. Abby did nothing wrong.

Story yes, gameplay, no. And I rave about the game's gameplay.Story wise, I think it works better that she is a woman. Considering the things that happened in TLOU2 at least.......

Abby is my waifu. I don't want to think of her as a dude. Thanks! All could have been solved, if Abby were just a dude from the get-go then. More believable too.
