USERJOY has announced that service for the PC web browser version of The Legend of Heroes: Akatsuki No Kiseki will be ceased on June 12, 2024, following roughly eight years of service since the game’s launch on August 31, 2016. Additionally, this announcement follows the shutdown of the mobile version of the game back in August 2023.

The official website lists additional information regarding the upcoming shutdown, notably about paid currency. Users are urged to ensure that they have no remaining paid currency when support is ended since refunds will not be possible then.

The Legend of Heroes: Akatsuki No Kiseki was also available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita, but support for all of those platforms has already ended. So, the game will now be ceased in its entirety across all platforms.

The Legend of Heroes: Akatsuki no Kiseki roughly occurs during the Intermission set in Trails to Azure, and the title has received several console ports since its release. However, it’s not really needed to understand the rest of the games at all and is primarily a celebratory avenue for the Trails series. An English release of sorts would be cool, but that’s incredibly doubtful.
