If you make omelets with him in CS1 you can sell them for a profit. Easiest way to make money.

Seriously, fuck this final fight. Every time you get him under 40k he dodges 99% of your attacks and counters for 20k damage.
Really? Woot, time to abuse it!
He's in a specific, telegraphed stance that is a 100% counter rate. Using that turn to heal/buff.

Are you attacking his weak spots correctly, and are you using counter yourself and keeping up the 90cp buff?
Each stance there is a correct action, take a look on the walkthrough on gamefaqs, there is pics of each stance and what you have to do.

Yeah, I'm keeping buffed and get all the stances up to that point (uner 40k hp), once you get there regardless which spot you hit, he doges and counters. I'm at lvl 66 now, so I'll trying getting to 70 if I could figure out how to use these stupid baits, lol

He should not be countering you if you hit the correct weak spot. Check this guide:

Maybe. You might have just had a better strategy. I think most times people have trouble with any Kiseki Boss they're just trying to brute force it, and get wiped by an S-Craft or something

Aeolus Gem - 15%
Golden Mail(Legram Exclusive) - 10%
Orion Boots - 10%
Evergreen x 2 - 20%(10%x2)
Evade 2 - 10%
Evade 1 - 5%
Shining(rare version) - 5%
Thors/Raven*- 10%
You can get 99% with Wing and Falco* as well.
Setup works for Rean, Gaius, Jusis, Fie and Crow I think.
It's far FAR easier to just get characters to 50% and abuse Insight status though
*Assuming Max Rank for Master Quartz

I implore that you don't use it as much as I did. It's not all that necessary and it is a tedious process to use at length. Still, nice to never have money be an issue.

Trust me, an environment like that shouldn't be used to flaunt anything. lol. I'm guessing it was more in the sake of variety/experimentation. While I wasn't in love with the horse riding itself, I found it succeeded in making for a mechanical change of pace.
running around wasn't an issue. its all the sidequests designed to 'make' you run around way too much lol.
Even some of the map layout was designed to make sure you are running around more than you should... someone really should have built a ramp or stairs over this tiny elevation

Those can kind of be mitigated if you tackle them in the right order, since some quests will take you straight back to where you want to go at certain triggers
but yeah those suck too. but I mean those fetch quests suck on foot as well.

Ok, so I boosted to lvl 82 and is was a breeze fight. That final scene though, if there was no sequel coming out in two days, I'd be soooooooooo pissed off right now.
