A spot of googling should sort that for you. I think Peeron.com has most of them scanned in. I usually just put 'LEGO XXXX Manual PDF' where XXXX is the product number.
peeron is good for old stuff - it can be a git to navigate, so try brickset.com to search for the set, which can then direct you to the instructions on peeron.
lego.com also has instructions in pdf but I don't know how far back they go.
Finally if you want printed instructions, you could try bricklink.com, but old stuff might be thin on the ground and/or expensive
This thread is horrible for a poor student. Tempted to pick up the t-rex from the creator series, but it's hard to justify the £13 on a toy. I guess I could live on ramen for a week...
That's a good suggestion, but my gaming consists of replaying old game boy advance games at the momentYou could just skip that next AAA videogame at launch and buy it at half price the following week.
Haha, I just found this set in a crate in my closet:

It's pretty busted up but I think all the pieces are in there.
I'm in your boat, just said fuckit and started buying small, once you start building you won't regret it! Gonna go pick up another set after lectures today I think. This thread is horrible for a poor student. Tempted to pick up the t-rex from the creator series, but it's hard to justify the £13 on a toy. Also which is everyone's preferred site of Lego news/rumoured/announcements?
just went to look up my ultimate collectors x-wing on amazon.
Holy Shit

I could always look at it as an investment or something my future kids could play with... Or a sweet dinosaur for me to build. Goddammit, I can't believe I'm this tempted by a toy.I'm in your boat, just said fuckit and started buying small, once you start building you won't regret it! I would love another Lego game that isn't just a movie franchise.
Also had this game but it was nowhere near as good as Island.

People on the fence need to get out of the toy/for kids mindset. LEGO is for everyone!

Its price.
Its price, not mindset.
EDIT: And its taking all my will to not buy the firehouse right now.
Goddamnit.
Ordered both, Imperial Flagship and Queen Annes's Revenge. Thanks GAF.
Jabba's Palace! Do we know when this is coming out?
Don't forget this shit holds its value and appreciates like a motherfucker! Do it right and you can MAKE MONEY BUILDING AND COLLECTING LEGO.Its price, not mindset.

what price did you get the Flagship for? Already £200+ on amazon/ebay/bricklink
Yeah I really like the look of the QAR, will probably buy it for my GF as she also did The Black Pearl which was great. The only bummer about the pirate ships is they kinda cheat a bit on the main hull, it's only comprised of three or four very large pieces so it comes together very quickly. Thanks to tested and reading this thread I ended up ordering Queen Anne's Revenge. Liked the look of it and it Should arrive tomorrow. First lego I've bought since I was a kid so will see how it goes =)

I don't give a fuck about that. Why do you care what some random stranger thinks? In any case I usually go to the local LEGO store where there are NO JUDGMENTS.The hardest obstacle is not caring about what others think when you look at them in the shop considering you are in the toy section. I guess you could always say you're buying it for a cousin if someone for some reason asks.

Just had word that there's going to be a special unveiling of the third Cuusoo model, 21102 LEGO Minecraft Micro World, at a LEGO CUUSOO and Mojang special event as part of LEGO World Copenhagen next week, on the 15th Feb.
Unfortunately I won't be able to get there but I'm sure we'll see pictures online shortly afterwards.

Not that bothered about it myself, but I know some of you may be. I can't imagine what you would do with the Minecraft license other than to just slap the game logo on a box of basic bricks :/
Yep. If I find the Millenium Falcon half-off at my local Walmart (which I suspect I might), it's mine. It's kinda sad to feel like I'd be getting a bargain by paying $70+tax for a collection of plastic building bricks. Its price, not mindset.

Isn't that a bit easy to say though? Couldn't you say the Super Star Destroyer is just a Star Wars logo on a box of grey bricks? Just because the minecraft world is naturally blocky doesn't make it an easy set to put together. They have to figure out what scale to make it, are they making a diorama or just eg a model of a creeper. There is tons to work from.
I tend to check in with Eurobricks.com and FBTB.net regularly. Also which is everyone's preferred site of Lego news/rumoured/announcements?
Jabba's Palace! Do we know when this is coming out?
I asked the guy at the LEGO store and his response was they might release them to coincide with the next movie release later this year. I'm not sure when they plan on releasing Ep 2 in theaters though either.
There are no plans for Ep 2 this year at least for now. They were gonna release episode 1 and test the waters to see if people even are willing to pay to see SW again in 3D
Dude in this video says it's "for Christmas 2012," so probably a few months before Xmas?Jabba's Palace! Do we know when this is coming out?
Well that's the other thing- Minecraft for the most part doesn't excite me, i'm not a fan of the license. Whereas the Star Wars sets are there to re-enact the fun and create new stories I imagine that'll be much harder to do with a Minecraft set- how exactly do you capture that essence and experience of the game but in toy form?
That it's microscale is encouraging I guess- atm I think it could be something similar to the Architecture theme, just more land-based. We'll see I guess.
Are people willing to pay? (I'm not). You look like a person who would know this info![]()
Wouldn't Minecraft sets just be boxes of parts with no instructions. Don't you build anything you want in Minecraft? Or is Minecraft more than walking around carving things out of the ground?
Minecraft is freedom to explore; its fearing for your life on the first night without shelter surrounded by monsters; its finding a never-ending cave system full of jewels and deadly skeletons; its building a huge castle on a cliff-top; its spider-proofing your compound; its...almost anything you want it to be.
So yes, its more than just walking about![]()
