And he was also featured in that exact pose as a young boy, on one of the earliest LEGO sets.
And yeah, if you have the opportunity to get that set, you need to move, son!!

This sort of reminds me of that scene from back to the future, the arrangement is almost identical to 50s hill valley.Interesting box pic:

Thanks, everyone! I will see what I can do. It's going to wipe out my Lego Store fund, but it might be worth it.
Pffft! Hardly. That information is readily accessible on the internet...LEGO nerds, unite!

This was posted a while ago, and I still think it's a crazy technique.
I think you'd have a hard time getting the wedges out.
That is why you use the 2 studs wide version.
I ordered, cancelled, reordered, and cancelled the Blue Roadster since the contest OP went up cuz they were taking so long. But I still ordered the Shuttle Expedition on Friday and it hasn't shipped yet. I was actually considering Mines of Moria for $70 in the gold box deals.argh Amazon is taking too long to ship on my Legos, ordered on Friday, haven't shipped yet, Super Saver ftl :| and it is just the Gandalf/Uruk Hai Army set

Love the advanced SNOT techniques. I wish Lego would make a 1x2 or 2x2 plate with studs on both sides
Ok GAF, I have decided I want to get back in on Lego. What sets represent best bang for buck piece wise etc?
My Minecraft set arrived but I almost don't want to take it out of its box lol. I'm treating this one as "special" so I don't really want to mix it with the rest.
I've said it before but as a beginner I've gotten the most mileage by far out of the Creator sets. In particular I've gotten more hours of super fun building out of the $13 Blue Roadster set than any of the expense sets I've bought.Ok GAF, I have decided I want to get back in on Lego. The modular building line has amazing bang for buck and are fantastic sets. The king for bang for buck right now is Tower Bridge. $240 for over 4000 pieces.Ok GAF, I have decided I want to get back in on Lego. What sets represent best bang for buck piece wise etc?

Licensed sets are amazing and I love my Slave 1, X-Wing, TIE, and everything else, but the cooler looking the model is, the less I'm inclined to take it apart for creative use.

I guess it should also be noted that each order from shopforme.com comes with a free S7 Minifig.
Good point, forgot about that.
Got your back, Ausbro.
Got anything yet? I'll bite on the Funhouse if they can do 25% on it. Only Mini Modulars for me so far assuming I actually got one.
