catching an earlier train right before it leaves letting me get home early. not yesterday tho missed my 2nd train by like 30 seconds because the 1st train had to stop for a couple of minutes for some delay. Pissed me off for like a few minutes.

Most times I make them black enough to leave a heavy dirt-like residue at the bottom of my cups.

I moved to Mexico in 2016 which allows me to try many dark Mexican blends. Every state down here has it's own variety of blends. Chiapas is a nice one. We get a lot of real Colombian coffees here due to the amount of Colombian immigrants living in Mexico. I also liked the Komodo Dragon blend that Starbucks sells (or used to sell). I like Italian espressos as long as the beans aren't ground (I like to blend them myself). I hate light coffees and they tend to have be more caffeinated and leave me all shaky. I don't like coffee machines. I had a Keurig 2.0 and the moisture inside the heating cylinder attracted a lot of bacteria to it. I make coffees with french press, peculator, or heating water on the stove top and pouring through a ceramic filter. Coffee machine coffee always tastes cold or lukewarm (even if it's been on the pot for a long time).

Every morning after my workout I sit in my sunroom to eat breakfast and my oldest daughter always comes out and sits with me to just chat about pretty much everything. I didn't realize just how much I enjoyed that but there are days where she's busy or away from home and i'm out there by myself and I realize just how much it makes my day.
