totally random slow mo scenes
the most jarring cuts in film editing history
bad (and not even eurobeat) music


they tried to put too much stuff in this movie. apparently it covers the first and the second stage, which blows my mind but whatever. i couldnt bear to watch it.

TO be completely honest, I wish the movie had been done by a Japanese studio with all Japanese actors, because it plays wayyyy too much to the HK crowd's sensibilities. Hence the lack of Eurobeat and the like, I'd presume. I mean, there isn't even all that much good drifiting footage until the final race, either. Though it was interesting seeing ID stuff played out live-action, the movie just has too many fundamental problems.
