Yes, you have. Go burn 5 churches in repentance.

Behemoth - slaves shall serve (video)
BAD ASS.
Big Nate said:Sorry if anyone is offended by the bump, but I just had to heap praise on this:
Decapitated - Organic Hallucinosis (death metal)
This may only be 32 minutes long, but jesus christ it's ****ing brutal. I wasn't familiar with Decapitated until hearing this, but it has spurred me to hunt down their other albums. If they are 1/10th as hard and crushing as this album, then consider me a fan for life!
Barnolde said:I'm selling that album in case anyone is interested
It's pretty meh, especially compared to their first two. Winds of Creation is godlike.
Dr. Strangelove said:I think it's better than The Negation, but yeah, Winds of Creation is where it's at for awesome Decapitated.
Big Nate said:Sabaton - Primo Victoria
Described as "war" metal, this World War II concept album is one of my newly discovered favorites. Everything from the vocals to the soaring solos, to the awesome keyboard work, reeks of quality metal on this album.
Highly recommended.
Barnolde said:I've been singing praises for this album for a long time, check the first page.
Their new CD (which comes out in a month) is going to be awesome from the 1 song I heard. Sabaton is incredible and they own the power metal genre.

Battery followed by Master of Puppets is the best two-punch combo that has ever struck me, I can still feel it.Gowans007 said:huge Master of Puppets pic
MadOdorMachine said:The lack of In Flames in this thread is criminal. Best metal group since Metallica and best rock group around today. It's amazing that they consistantly release great album after great album. It's rare to find a CD with one or two good songs on it, but they deliver hit after hit. Anyone who hasn't heard them needs to visit their My Space Page immediately.
MadOdorMachine said:The lack of In Flames in this thread bla bla bla bunch of BS bla bla
SnakeXs said:Their earlier material is classic, melodeath rivaled by few.

QVT said:Death Metal is pointless after Death, Appalling Spawn and Lykathea Aflame for me. I haven't been able to listen to anything but them when I feel the need for extreme metal anymore.
The Take Out Bandit said:The singer is about on the same level of Rob Halford in terms of sound. But god damn do the songs rock!

KRONOS
Three bands that have put out some of the best metal albums this year.
QVT said:I haven't even heard of them, so no blame can fall on me. I'll look them up. They better not suck, asshole. :lol

Phobophile said:There are only three genres in that post: power metal, metalcore (with little metal influence), and not metal (HIM).
SnakeXs said:Don't rag on the guy just because you're not savvy on your fast metals.
Yeah; Power Metal.and Nightwish no longer fits Power Metal, they used to but now they are more melodic operatic (is there a genre for it?)
El_Victor said:Yeah; Power Metal.
lsslave said:*laughs* Well... Sonata Arctica really aren't Power Metal, so I just called it "fast metal"
