The most humerous game?

Personaly, I find it to be MGS3. It's not set out to be a humerous game overal but when great characters find them in funny situations/dialogues it's so much stronger.
I have litterary catched myself laughing out loud many times during that game and where I whished I had a video camera or sometime to tape the moment in the game. So amazing.

The opening dialog of Castlevania: SoTN had me rolling....DIE MONSTER!!!
This dialog is one of my favorite scenes in any game, ever.

"Mankind ill needs a savior such as yOOUuu."

The little glass arcs out of Dracula's hand when he says "What is a man?" :lol :lol :lol

Does anyone have a video of this scene? I love it.

Can't think of one. How about a tie among Typing of the Dead, Katamaris, Bangi-o, Incredible Crisis, Cubivore, SpaceQuests, and lots of Infocom games?

Monkey Island (1/2/3)

Haggis McMutton: Me given name is 'Heart-Liver-And-Kidneys-Boiled-In-The-Stomach-Of-The-Animal McMutton.'
Guybrush Threepwood: Oh, so your parents were expecting a girl, then.
Haggis McMutton: Aye.

LeChuck: I... am your brother!
Guybrush Threepwood: No! No, that's not true!
LeChuck: Search your feelings, you KNOW it to be true!
Guybrush Threepwood: Noooooooooooooooooooo!

Not so funny anymore perhaps, but when it came out.. I had a great time.

Bangai-O was pretty damn funny due to the engrish and... well acceptance of it being a game. "Are you the boss?!"

MGS3 did make me laugh due to Snakes incredibly overacted voice, especially when he started ranting about that gun he was carving for CQC purposes. I thought he was going to start masturbating furiously.

:lol :lol :lol

The word CQC was mentioned in that game approximately 5048^10 times

Discussion of it consumed half of the DVD

Most didn't like Escape from Monkey Island, but I laughed my ass off at the part where you had to get the dunce cap. I was crying.

Snake: The feeding ramp is polished to a mirror sheen. The slide's been
reinforced. And the interlock with the frame is tightened for added precision.
The sight system is original, too. The thumb safety is extended to make it
easier on the finger. A long-type trigger with non-slip grooves. A ring
hammer... The base of the trigger guard's been filed down for a higher grip.
And not only that, nearly every part of this gun has been expertly crafted and
customized. Where'd you get something like this?

Haha, Snake was a bit too excited with that gun. It was indeed funny. It was like a kid with a brand new toy........

.............a toy in which the kid wanted to masturbate off.

He's a gun geek, but a funny one. His little conversation with Ocelot about his gun was funny too

Snake: It's a nice gun, I'll give you that. But the engraving gives you no
tactical advantage whatsoever. Unless you were planning to auction it off as a
collector's item. And you're forgetting one more very basic thing... You don't
have what it takes to kill me.

Ocelot: We'll see!! (he pulls the trigger but nothing happens. He is out of
ammo) !

(Eva frees herself and roundhouse kicks him, sending him flying off the
platform. She jumps off and lands on her motorcycle. Ocelot tries to stop her
but Eva does a back flip on her bike, hitting Ocelot squarely in the face and
flooring him. Eva catches his knife on its way down)

Snake: 6 shots...

Ocelot: ?

Snake: That thing only carries 6 shots. The Makarov carries 8. You have to get
a feel for how many you have left. (Ocelot recovers his gun) This is a high
class weapon. It's not meant for shooting people.

MGS3: so many hilarious conversations with Paramedic, Sigint, and Major Zero on the radio.
The cutscene with Snake and Eva "wrestling" in the cave was :lol .

I've played through a little of Discworld II recently, and found some of the dialogue hilarious. Real Terry Pratchet / Monty Python Humor.

Metal Arms is pretty funny too. Grunk(?) constantly swearing in his Dan-Castelnetta-Krusty voice is great.

Mischief Makers had some funny dialogue and scenes.

The complete ending with
Prof. Theo going gaga over human Marina
was really awesome.

Sam and Max Hit The Road.

Early Lucasarts quests lead the way. And I don't see who can beat them.

Actually Comedic:

MDK and MDK 2
Giants: Citizen Kabuto
Day of the Tentacle / Maniac Mansion / Monkey Islands / Grim Fandango / Sam and Max
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Infocom
Disgaea
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Earthbound
Incredible Crisis

Unintentional Comedic:

Megaman( Voice acting in the entire series w/ VA )
Resident Evil Directors Cut( Jill Sand Wedge )
Castlevania: SOTN( THIS SWITCH HASN'T BEEN PRESSED YET! )
Captain Novolin( Evil Blood Sugar Increasing Cookie Demons )
Guilty Gear( Faust, Bridget, and others )

Grim Fandango.

And of course, to a lesser extent, MGS3's gems hidden in the codec conversations.

- President of the Unidentified Mysterious Animal Watcher's Club ?

- "I didn't think you could, but you did it, Snake! Forget about the mission, just bring it home." (Tsuchinoko discovery)

- eating poisonous mushrooms before asking Paramedic

- eating mushrooms to recharge batteries

- the whole 'box' conversation

- Raikov

In recent memory: Psychonauts.

You are right. Meji is too. But I just realized there was nothing in the OP about it necessarily being a recent game... so I'll also toss in a nod to Skullmonkeys (PS1) and Panic! (Sega CD).

Yeah, I narrowed it down for my own choice. Humor tends to fade with memory, or get distorted by that awesome force known only as 'Nostalgia'.

Phoenix Wright (the first 4 cases)

"I'd like to see her pull it off"

"Oh, i bet you are thinking "I'd like to see her pull it off". Mr Wright, so many men have stood before me and said they thought i couldn't pull it off, but i try and try, and i always manage it"

(or something to that akin)

Psychonauts.

The game got progressively wierder and funnier as the game went on but even then one of the best lines come in early.

"You'll have plenty of time to stand around when you're dead!"

Edit: "Oh no Gogglor! Not the Mattress Factory!"
