being watched
I'll have:-

A Sound of Thunder (11th) - Quite like the premise. Wether the exectution will be good is another thing.
Kung Fu Hustle (18th) - Loved Shaolin Soccer - greatest last 15 mins in a movie EVAR!
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (19th) - Lucas can't fuck this up. Surely. Sidious will OWN!
War of the Worlds (29th)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (15th) - 90 min Acid Trip judging from trailer.
Doom (5th) = Haha!
Serenity (30th) = loved the TV series.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe (9th) - I learnt to read in school with Chronicles books. Special place in my heart.

To whom it may concern:

If you have a few minutes, could you please let the rest of Hollywood know that they need to lay off the goddamned remakes? Thanks!

Everyone have their new 2005 calenders?

Good. Now flip to September. Look at the bottom there. Okay, now grab a sharpie .. or a sharpee, whatever you got handy. Now put a nice large circle around the 30. There you go. Good job.

Steamboy, Kingdom of Heaven, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Land of the Dead , The Brothers Grimm & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire are movies I'm interested in. Regarding Kingdom of Heaven, I really hope it turns out watchable, after the stupidity that was Troy, King Arthur and Achilles I'd like some semi-historic epic to be enjoyable. Overall, for 2005 it seems Hollywood once again isn't gonna provide me with enough interesting titles. Hurray for the European/Asian/South-American/etc cinema :).

This looks to be a much better year at the movies than the previous. Man 2004 was pretty weak as far as movies go. The summer movies sucked more than usual and no big fall and winter releases. 2005 looks like even the popcorn movies will be good.
