More unfinished collabs.

Suppose to be a conservative nerdy but hot looking girl, working on some crud mechanical thing bored or day dreaming. But instead turned out looking more cute.

From the other art thread. I'll just throw it in here since it's dead now.

I created a quick collage of my digital artwork from the past 5 years, after being inspired to examine the dates on everything. It's a little strange how much of a gap developed in 2003. I thought perhaps I was drawing more traditional stuff during that year, but I checked and found maybe 2 or 3 scanned drawings from that year. I suppose I must have more stuff in my sketchbooks from then that I didn't scan, but oh well.

That's just the small view. It's 2048x1536 at full view, but also easier to see, so try to load it at your own risk.

Here's a self portrait I did in charcoal a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised by how much it looked like me as I kinda rushed it while half-concentrating on the TV. :p

I need some advice on airbrushes, I'm planning to use it for painting models made out of super sculpy. I came across this one and I'm looking for opinions

Oh Jebus.... Avoid the plastic ones like the plague. For heavy duty works like painting models and T-Shirts, I prefered the Paasche model F. I use to have that motherbitch singing at over 100psi doing freehand airbrush T-shirt work at Paramount's Kings Island in Mason Ohio. Took a licking and kept on ticking. Can't go wrong there.

Obcourse it's been well over a decade since I touched one of those things so......

Great drawings! Nice and clean linework to boot. I'm always a fan of good linework.

Great stuff in here. Just picked up a tablet for the first time - yay!

My gal...

I just felt like doing a complete revision of an old piece that had started out as a colored pencil work, then moved to a practice piece on Painter. It's still a bit simplistic, but I tend to stop early, so oh well.

Damn Darthwoo, your characters really need to be liberated from your cruel pen. :)

Well, this is actually a friend's character. Slavery was just a part of the backstory, although this character's slavery didn't involve cleaning houses or harvesting crops. :D

Bump! Bump! Bump!

Bump! Bump! Bump!

Edit: I need more webspace for my pictures, anyone know of a good place? (preferably free).

Jiggle, I love the colors on Tidus, but...What's with the fish face?

Taku, that picture of the sky is :O. Any digital editing on these?

Here's my latest! Done all in digital oil in painter 9. Only one layer the whole time. It's my first time approaching a piece in this way, and I really like the results.

There was some quick editing, yes. I usually saturate/desaturate all my pictures depending on how I really want them, also play around a bit with contrast, but I don't really do much editing other than that..

That is awesome, Oli. I envy you and your awesome camera. I never get around to take any photos since I don't even own a camera. I have a few good ones that I took one summer with my dad's Olympus Camedia C-8080WZ.

I really do need one though, lately I've been seeing alot of perfect "photography moments".

very nice though I can't help but shake the second one looks a little broken. But very impressive though. Also, amazing photography guys, especially Taku's last batch. And Manabanana's pic is just straight creepy. Especially the hands.

Since everyone's posting their photogs, I'll jump in. These church pics are from a small cathedral in Flagstaff, AZ. Took them a few years ago and used them in a CD album project. Messed with the last 2 in Photoshop, since they're so dark.

I have a thing for cathedrals. :)

These are more recent. Taken from a bridge near downtown Los Angeles. The last one is cropped and I had to fix the levels for a couple of them.
