I think it's only a matter of time before Republicans turn on him and make him their sacrificial lamb in order to save their own skins. People seem to be forgetting that the Republican party wasn't super supportive of him in the first place. Now that Republicans have control of the House, Senate, and the White House they don't really need Trump anymore.

Once they have all the legislation they want from him (so they can get it but blame him for the negative side effects), the GOP will be open to getting rid of him if a situation arises where his being president is more detrimental to their party's future than helpful.
