I have almost always loved the Pam and Jim stuff, and last night was no different. The episode was a turd, but I really liked the ending, and after viewing a married couple's recent fight, it felt fresh and authentic. I still believe Pam is the best actor on the show.
The problem, other than the incredibly stupid decision to have a random crew comfort Pam, is that all of this is too late. This should have happened in the early episodes. At this point, after 2 seasons of shit, who cares?
Who cares?
Honestly, I truly feel that the people who defend the show, who like the recent episodes, are morons. It is bad. Period. End of story. It is garbage.
Sure, there are moments of greatness, and they usually involve Pam, who is the best actor on the show, (like Vera Farmiga does the best acting in The Departed, with Matt Damon closely behind her), but everything else is garbage.
Does no one care that the head of this branch is absent on a boat? Does no one care that Nelly has completely transformed in a few episodes? Does no one care?
Does no one care that Toby, the untouchable of the show, is now being bogged down by the ridiculousness of the show's current garbage?
The last thing I wrote about The Office, in detail, was on my
crappy website, but after tonight, I feel like so much of my time was wasted. Who is thinking this stuff is good? Who?
Who are these morons?
I just don't care anymore. I don't. Rest in piece, and all that.
