That does look pretty cool. Might just have to pick up some Live points for Monday.

Looking forward to Zeta, got my spacebucks loaded up to get it.
MMaRsu said:Yeah I just left Raven Rock as well. This is my second playthrough and finished Point Lookout and other side quests I hadn't done. I heard about enemies spawning from Broken Steel before you finish the game? I'm lvl 22.
I haven't seen one new enemy yet in the regular wasteland..

Depends on which quests you're doing. If you're at 18 already something tells me you explore and kill a LOT of creatures/Raiders. What's your Karms?rc213 said:Been playing through this game like a madman over the last week on PS3. Good stuff!
I've only done like 10 quest and I'm already at Level 18. I love slicing Yao Guai in 2 swings, So awesome!
Any tips?
Very good, I explored a ton mainly looking for the bobbleheads and skill books. Got 10 bobbleheads and like 40 skillbooks. 4 of the 6 custom built weapons I think. Which quest do I finish to get the Power Armor? The Frankman said:Depends on which quests you're doing. If you're at 18 already something tells me you explore and kill a LOT of creatures/Raiders. Zeitgeister said:Half way the main quest (which isn't very long, tbh).
More specific: The Waters of Life.

According to the Fallout Vault Wiki they've concluded that this happens to people who played The Pitt after installing Point Lookout. I was incapable of getting the 100 Ingot achievement because of this bug.

:lol :lol No, I've never played like that before, but its hilarious.kai3345 said:Just made me a new guy, and I'm trying to make my second playthrough a little more interesting, I'm going to do one of those "act in character" type things.
Where you make your character out in the beginning. For example my new character is An alchoholic techno genius, who is great with energy weapons, and has an addiction to Psycho.
So instead of basing my actions on what would be best for me as the player, I base them on what is best for the character.
So, for example, my character will be constantly looking to get his fix of Psycho, even if he doesn't have any caps, so he'll attack a caravan and take all their Psycho.
Just stuff like that seems like it would make the game more fun.
Anyone else done something like this?

The slaves and Grouse in Paradise Fall become hostile to me after I ignored their warning. Could I have chances to start this mission from dialogue with Grouse?
Too bad I do not keep the save file before finding Paradise Falls![]()

Question: I'd like to know how/where can I get some "armor training" so that I'll be able to wear those heavy Brotherhood of Steel armors/helmets?
You'll learn when you're at the Brotherhood, somewhere near the end. Just save up those armorpieces in your home in Megaton.agaru said:Man, V.A.T.S. kills are sooo satisfying. How did you break the Main Quest?teiresias said:I've been playing through the game on PS3 and was having fun with it, but was really blown away after I ran across the "Dunwich Building" and played through that. That was a really fun mini-experience.
I'm not sure why I like this game so much more than Oblivion - maybe it has to do with the VATS and if something like it were used in the next Elder Scrolls game (obviously with a different interface convention) then it might play better. I also found the environment more appealing (ironically I suppose), and it helps that I'm reading "The Dark Tower" by Stephen King right now too, so my mind is in the proper zone for this kind of mood.
I still do exploring outside the main quest rather warily because I "broke" the main quest sequence once already by doing that and had to restart from a save in order to get it back on track, so I really dislike feeling like that's a chance I take by going out on my own and exploring different places.

agaru said:Thanks for the answers guys. Yeah I'm saving them up in my apparel inventory, which leads me to ask since Notorious_Roy mentioned it, how can I own a house in Megaton? I searched the whole town and talked to Nova but couldn't figure it out (she only offered a temporary rent?)
Same thing nearly happened to me (read page 235). I take a peek through a non-spoiler walkthru.teiresias said:I didn't really "break" it I suppose. What happened was I had gotten the "Galaxy News Radio" quest after talking to Moriarty in Megaton, but then decided to finish the "Wasteland Survival Guide" quest arc from Moira before moving on. One of those quests takes you to Rivet City and for some reason I was given the option to ask about someone named Doctor Li. I honestly cannot remember whether her name had been mentioned to me previously or not, but it seemed to show up in my conversation tree with the guard outside the city right out of the blue.
OK, he probably mentions her in reference to the city council, but since I don't know anything about her yet in reference to my dad I really shouldn't be curious enough about her as a character for inquiries about her to show up in my dialog trees. Anyway, I got curious, found her in the city and struck up conversation with her and when you do that it completes "Galaxy News Radio" without you ever actually having gone there. I didn't really like that and felt that the only reason I had found her was because of some faulty logic on the part of the game of when I should be offered certain dialog options, so I chose to reload and make sure and avoid her when I went to Rivet City before the main quest sends you there.
Thanks a lot.ZombieSupaStar said:talk to lucas simms the town sheriff about disarming the bomb, say you can do it (and if your speech is good enough, try and jack the price up for some easy caps, I always try and max speech first thay way I dont have to worry about it later, and can choose to talk my way outta stuff mid game). then get some mentats (either from the crater supply store, or if you talk leo stahl out of his key to his stash there are some), pop those (which raise your explosive skill +10 for a little bit, and it needs to be 25 to disarm the bomb).
then go back and talk to lucas after your done, and hell give you a house its to your left when entering megaton, or your right when facing the door to go out of megaton.

Bethesda games only spaz out when the save was associated with mods/DLC the current install doesn't have, but since GOTY will come with all of the previously released DLCs, shouldn't be a problem.Moundir&Tony>you said:I'll be able to use my current save file with that right?
