I know it's impossible for opinions to be wrong, but man I have to say that this is flat out wrong. Exia is so awesome.

Some probably think of it as a Gundam with anorexia, but it's design makes sense due to the fact that it's a quick cqc suit. I probably liked Kyrios the most in 00, but Exia and Dynames, especially with its shield bits were pretty cool looking as well.

Michel needed the testosterone infusion that is the Bright Slap. Kiki is just the privileged guerrilla girl. No different from Cagali as far as I'm concerned, just less significant to the story.

Stardust Memory is probably still the biggest waste of potential, though. That great animation, those awesome prototype suits. The concept is so cool as well. A nuclear prototype MS on the loose? Could have made for an amazing Cold War in space espionage thing. Instead, we got 0083. Ugh.

Fights were cool at least and gave us one of the only good mobile armor designs with the Nieu Ziel. Characters were shit on a stick yes, I can't even try to argue with that nonsense. Kou with his carrot phobia, Nina being...Nina, Keith trying to be Maximilian Jenus. I think it only exists to show why the Titans supposedly existed and that's just an extended cameo at the end. Really should've just been about that.

The idea is sound, let's show the events that lead up to this catastrophic event...that ends up showing the Feddies as the most incompetent force to ever exist in the UC. It's also the real piece everyone points to for turning Zeon into cool, misunderstood freedom fighters from their former, wait no these guys are space Nazis persona.

Oh man, the RG Zeta of all things? Be real careful with that thing. Honestly surprised you're having less trouble than with the Exia. You've only done the easiest part, though That thing is gorgeous, but fragile as hell. Be extra careful with the chest assembly and the shoulders. The joint that allows the cockpit to pull up and over the head and the sliding shoulder extension pieces on the inner frame are super, super fragile. Also just be extra careful if you ever transform it. The pieces I mentioned as well as the ones in the hip that allow the legs to swing around all seem (or from experience, are) easy to break. It's not doomed to break like, say, the PG Strike Freedom, but it's real easy to snap.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think I'm going to transform it (probably once, for fun), but the main reason I think it's much easier than the Exia is because it actually feels engineered for the scale it is produced for. Not sure if it makes a lot of sense, but the biggest complaints I have with the Exia is not the fragility (STOP THE LEG JOKES GUYS, IT'S NOT FUNNY ANYMORE!!!) but rather what a pain in the ass the kit itself is. Breaking the leg piece was my fault because I was a bit impatient, but the larger problem with the entire kit was that they basically took a lot of cues from the MG Exia in the engineering, but at RG scale it's just hard to put together. Too many small parts. Too many loose small parts which have to be held in position before securing with another part, etc.

When I put the pieces of the Zeta together, it feels like they fit and it can be done with 2 hands. When I put the pieces of the Exia together, it felt like it was designed for someone with 4 arms to put together. Lol.

I watched up through 11 yesterday and wow Gineas is a crazy motherfucker. Pretty awesome villain.

Also the Gouf fight was really fucking cool. MG Ez8 and Gouf Custom added to gunpla wishlist.

That's probably the best fight scene that doesn't involve a bunch of OP super suits. Nothing bet planning and Norris being a straight up bad ass. That shot were he walks side by side with the Gouf is still godly.

Episode 4 of Unicorn is the best. Also Norris Packard is my Favorite Zeon.

Damn yami4ct was right about the body framework of the Zeta. Some really weird stuff. Tricky sliding, some connections which are kinda loose, some stuff which are tight fits. Definitely more challenging. Pretty fun though. If it didn't transform, this would probably be a much tighter kit, but alas they really want the transforming without reassembly gimmick.

Some of my favorite parts of putting together detailed kits is seeing 3-4 different color combinations finally fit together in a single part. Like the yellow gates around the exhausts on the chest and the legs, and fitting the red thrusters into the back skirt parts. it just looks so cool, lol.

Only got the shoulders and arm armor stuff left I think. I... don't think I want to even transform this kit once. Lololol.
