The incredible Chopin piece, the freeze frame "moment of time", the looks of terror and desperation and anger on the figures' faces, the hopeless odds...It just screams "epic"! It really, really makes me hate the Covenant for some reason. Leave mah people alone, creeps! :lol

For those worried about no gameplay footage: Halo 3 is going to do gangbusters out of the gate, to say the least. I would think after several weeks or so of being out they'll run more "traditional" video game ads for it to keep it going strong into Xmas.

As you fly through the diorama points of interest appear. Some have existing videos, like the Museum and Believe ads. Two say "Coming 09/25" and one says "Coming 10/01".

The "snapshot" feature of the dhiarrhama actually just links you to a screenshot for every single "step" through the walkthrough.

The site and diorama are impressive as hell. But as regards the ads themselves, I agree with Ghaleon--the live action, melodramatic angle is strange and not exactly a grand slam with me.

I'm of the opinion that the game stands on its own, and doesn't need this sort of marketing investment.

It's a great diorama - stunning detail and artistry. The Museum ad was effective. I don't like the Believe ad, as an ad for Halo 3. Really, really don't like it. But I'll respect your opinion and not insult you.
