The making-of is my favorite of the mix. Great writing and music, coupled with behind the scenes stuff that makes me really appreciate what a work of art that diorama is. Amazing video.

I'm not really sure about these ads. They are really way out there. I'm getting Halo 3 no matter what so the ads have no impact on me. I will be interested to see how the mainstream public reacts to these ads.

It's a great diorama - stunning detail and artistry. The Museum ad was effective. I don't like the Believe ad, as an ad for Halo 3. Really, really don't like it. But I'll respect your opinion and not insult you.

And the ad agency STILL doesn't know any plot details beyond what's out there already. This is all atmosphere, feeling, mood.

It is designed to involve you in the feelings of these Marines, and the human cost of the events in the game.

Music after all, needs no lyrics to elicit a visceral response from the soul.

Having just talked to a famous gaming site editor who completed the game AFTER seeing the ad campaign, he was surprised by the ending.

Otherwise, stay away from spoilers from leaks. The ad campaign isn't spoiling anything for you.

It's 50 years after the events of Halo 3, and he's 40 years old when the game takes place. If MC is dead, it's quite possible that he died in an old age home.

In the commercial, set dozens of years after Halo 3, the soldier is careful to point out that the memorial is symbolic only and that nobody really knows where the chief is.

There is no spoiler, because the ad company does not know what the ending of Halo 3 is.
