That sucks, probably a similar reason for why the blocks turn "gold" check if anyone has found a fix for that I would suggest.Kibbles said:Anyone know how to fix it when your red and blue lights go out? :S

the str8 rippin montage is out. its a pretty big file and could take awhile to dl, but it should be on youtube relatively soon. alot of cool clips, and really nice editing. i'd probably watch it just for the editing, in fact

Two questions:
1) Can the skulls on the Mythic maps be found by flying around in a saved film? My daughter wants to hunt for them that way, but I'm not sure if we can see them.
2) So, I'm forging a new map on Sandbox, this time trying to merge objects for the first time. I've done the first three, and when I try to do the next, something strange is happening. I'll set the object to not appear at the start of the round, and then reset the round. And when the next one starts, the object is there physically. But it's turned off-color, I can't select it to check attributes, move etc. It's there physically but not in a way I can interact with, rather than appearing 30 seconds into the round. This is happening for all objects now. Is this a known issue, something that happens after three things are merged? Not sure what to do.

AWESOME job with the remakes i've seen so far (sanctuary, turf, and warlock). any more coming down the pipes?

you obviously don't know about the 3 golden rules of montages:Revengeance said:Watched the str8 montage. Some crucial dongings in there, but as a montage, it wasn't great. Dani is right. "Double kill, triple kill, overkill. Double kill, triple kill, overkill" gets boring after the 20th time. And where is it written in the Law of Montages that all montages have to use shitty music?
Haha, that reminds me of when the youtube video of Last Resort leaked from the private beta, and it had that awful music.vhfive said:2. all montages must have shitty music
I remember that. I just turned it off and watched the video; I was so excited to see the Spartan Laser for the first time.TDG said:Haha, that reminds me of when the youtube video of Last Resort leaked from the private beta, and it had that awful music.
not yet but there has been hints at one in the futureJB1981 said:Has Bungie ever offered a forge playlist that includes some of the best user-made forge maps? If not, why? Has the community simply not made good enough maps yet?

We did end up playing some customs last night, most fo them were hits too! But I think we had an older version of Firmament, the spawns were deadly!Great job on the maps everybody!
KevinRo said:Naw, man it's not about playing that way, just by the fact that you play so many fucking games it eventually falls in your lap. I have some crazy retarded shit recorded but I'm too lazy to go through hours and hours of gameplay to find it and let alone learn how to edit the footage.
Seriously, playing non-stop customs and Gamebattles nets you some nasty shit.

Sounds like a job for the good ol' BitTorrent.Louis Wu said:Just so folks know what they're getting into:
I devoted three full 100Mbit lines to the podcast last time around... and while I never went DOWN, it was definitely slow for many users for a stretch of time there.
You need at LEAST gigabit serving capability (and maybe more) for a 24-hour period (and multimegabit for the following month or so) to handle this.
That's a great point. A dedicated machine seeding all the shows would only need a fraction of the bandwidth. I would in no way mind a dedicated Bungie podcast client in my system tray, even - if Blizzard can do it, why not Bungie?Voltron64 said:Sounds like a job for the good ol' BitTorrent.
