and in your original post you said xbox 360 wireless mic, didnt specify that its Halo 3.

anyway, MS sucks. they not only make the Halo 3 ones better, they have USB cables instead of stupid ac adapters.

Okay, that's more what I'm looking for. If I can charge it while it's off that's fine. You would assume charging it via a PC or something would probably be okay, but I don't feel like taking any chances. And if the wireless mics usually come with AC chargers, the Halo 3 one does NOT.

I charged the Halo wireless headset while the 360 was off. It charges when it's off, as it should.

Bum deal. I'm really disappointed by Microsoft. They should have recalled all the launch units. They know there's a design flaw but they refuse to fix it for the early adopters. Shame.

I can hardly find people who didn't think H3 Beta was better than Halo 2 MP (well, I haven't found any). Only reason to keep playing H2 MP would be hardware related.

I don't think there will be a large segment of people that only play Halo 2, it will mostly just be people that want to remember good old times on maps like Lockout and Relic.

Man, that SUCKS. Mine went out two weeks ago, and due to a shipping error on Microsoft's part, the box never came, so I had to restart the entire process last week.

What are you going to do? The only option I can think of for myself is to buy a new one and pay the 15% restocking fee to return it when mine comes back from MS. I have to have a working console on Sept. 25.

This is so ridiculous. I paid for an Xbox 360, but for the last two weeks, and for another two or three (including Halo 3's launch date), I don't have one. Because mine, like thousands upon thousands of others, simply stopped working. Instead of having them shipped off to be repaired, we should be able to go into a store, plug in the console to show that we're RRoD'ed, and be given a new console on the spot. I know that's not feasible, but after two weeks, and no return date in sight, I'm sick of not being able to play games because the launch consoles are faulty.

It occurs to me that it might backfire a touch, since I think Bungie has pretty much told us everything they are going to tell before reviews hit. So who knows how much meaty Halo goodness will be coming in the next few days. But please, don't fill up the thread with random GIFs (though Halo gifs are welcome). I'm sure some poor soul will make a fool out of himself and there will be an opportunity in another thread soon enough.

Yeah we're in this netherworld where previews are over, and reviews are under embargo.

The last Luke said was "when it's done". I'm guessing a lot of folks are decompressing/on vacation after the nine-month crunch at the end so scheduling could be a trick. Hopefully we see more of the new bungie.net next week; looking at the three pics we've been given in the OP, I think I could lose myself in there.
