I guess the looking back ad is a spoiler that we survive. Did anyone really think humanity would be wiped out? For me I keep thinking that someone will stay behind to fire the Halo stations. It's either MC or Arbiter. More likely the Arbiter as an act of atonement for his race's sins against humanity. Also all Arbiters die foreshadowing.

Uh, so I just got done reading the movie script that was leaked. And wow, am I glad they brought DB Weiss in to rework it. Because I laughed. At parts that I probably shouldn't have laughed at. Also the cheese threat was Cheesecon 1. Easily. So much exposition (which wasn't necessarily a bad thing), but a lot of it was stuff that just did not fit with what we know to be true. I said wow at a lot of stuff.
