Nine times out of ten, I'll pick up a BR over a Carbine. I feel far more comfortable timing the bursts of the BR, as opposed to flicking the trigger as fast as I can when I have a Carbine. I can use it and use it effectively, but I just don't have very dynamic fingers.

That means that even if you only have Xbox Live Silver, or you picked up a 360 just for Halo 3, that you’ll be able to try ALL the features – online co-op, Multiplayer, Forge editing, viewing networked Saved Films and using our File Share system.

Sigh of relief?

So they are coming in to stores over a week before launch, pretty much 3 weeks after it went Gold. I still cannot fathom how they manufactured millions of copies of Halo 3 in that amount of time, not to mention distribution time. I guess thats America's SCM for you. It just seems that the demand is incredibly high right now and I keep thinking someone won't get the game on day 1.

Lars and Joe Tung are doing the IMAX in San Francisco, which I believe is today and then Joe Tung and I are doing the NYC event on Thursday night.

I was planning to go to the SF event, but if I do I would start driving at 5:00 at the earliest and SF is like 3 hours from here. Knowing Halo fans the line will be huge, and I don't want to risk driving that much for such a slim chance to get in. Is there any way that I can get guaranteed access?

I'd missed that one. My current theory is it has something to do with the Flood - the Gravemind is described as the "hive mind" (think bees) of the Flood. He's the queen, we're all future drones. But I tend to think very literally, and I doubt it's that simple.
