No, that flash thing is no where near the halo3 loader. I saw it at the Seattle IMAX showing. It's sooo cool, you'll almost wish the game didn't load so fast.

Err.... it can't be a spin-off. It will be either a story in the future or the past but any more than that I can't really say. I hear the Halo Universe bible covers thousands of years.

We have the prequel covered. I assume that Jacksons "game" takes another view of the war. You don't play as Chief but as a soldier who goes through the events that Chief is not part of.

And then you've got, you know, Halo 4 (Marathon 4?) which won't feature the Chief we know and love.

A forerunners ARPG, kotor/mass effect style, depicting the fall of their civilization, origins of the flood and endingwith the first firing of the rings. Adjutant reflex would definitely be a character.

Or a space combat one (maybe turn based strategy). There are some really nice battles covered in the books.

Or even better a Mr.Chief sidescrolling for XBLA, figthing hordes of ninjas, on fire.

Hmm, a post-war RPG where a SPARTAN III or someone galaxy-trots to prevent some other kind of forerunner apocalypse? Have party members from both allied and occupied[?] races? I'd buy it. Or perhaps even an Early Covenant based RPG? Lots of untold story out there!

I'd also love to see a multiplayer based space combat + space strategy hybrid game. Kind of like Battlestations: Midway.

Well, having played a few mp matches in Halo 2 yesterday, it doesn't bode well for me Even in ranked matches I pretty much get destroyed. Maybe I just shouldn't bother getting in the mp of this one and wait for Halo 3. I don't know, but how is the skill level here at GAF? I was thinking about getting in some of the matches here but it'll probably be a rude awakening since you fans are most likely all Halo 2 veterans and pretty skilled
