GT Racing has an update, 2 more cars and improved viewing distance, the old version had some nasty pop in only about 10 meters from the car.
Why? I thought it was all right for the price..McBacon said:I don't think I've ever deleted an app so quick in my life.

Am I stuck with that annoying alert on my AppShop icon when I refuse to update?Removed USB syncing capability at Apple's request
I think so. There's good reasons for it. One of the drawbacks of the platform being closed, I guess.. A bummer.Vinneh said:Anyone else not digging the Comic Zeal Reader update?

Not worth the frustation

This is by far the most frustrating game I've ever played. There is no way to beat the first level. Honestly, there is no way to complete the first section of the game! I spent 3 hours on it, missed 2 meetings, and still that stupid star falls in the water every time. I mean, did they program anything after this? Is this suppose to be fun. I cracked the iphone when I tossed it in the garbage out of anger. This is hardly representative of the cute and colorful graphics. These puzzles are too hard and this is for a child? If I had a child, I would never let him touch the game. I have a business degree and went to 6 years of college and I can not figure out how to get that dang star from falling in the water. I remove a piece and bam, every time. This is no fun. You must have to be a super genuis or something, I don't know. This is just crazy to think that this is a game that people would enjoy

It was a hack that violated the API. You can still sync over wifi, which is what I do anyway. Just update it.Vinneh said:Anyone else not digging the Comic Zeal Reader update?

This game was amazing on the Xbox and PS2, hopefully it translates well to the iPhone.
It'll probably be back whenever the next iPhone OS update comes out...which could be a while. They implemented an official USB storage thing for the iPad (OS 3.2) so I expect they're getting rid of the unofficial methods in preparation for that.Vinneh said:Anyone else not digging the Comic Zeal Reader update?

It's free because it's brokenSupa said:That Assassin's Creed II Multiplayer game is still free by the way.
It was only supposed to stay free until Wednesday, but Ubisoft apparently extended the launch period freebie time.
I downloaded it already, but I haven't registered to play it yet, so I don't know if it's any good...

I haven't played either yet, but thought some of you would want to know.
Speaking as a developer, all games should use it. We implemented it for the first time in Dungeon Solitaire, and it's damn easy to do (took me about a half hour to put it in the game and setup online leaderbooards, another 15 minutes for online achievements), is completely free, and they don't make you do anything like plaster their logos all over the place. Its only annoyance is the first time someone runs your game it comes up with the full-screen OpenFeint signup page, but that's only once.the_painted_bird said:Does everyone use OpenFeint? I have a few friends with iPhones, just curious who takes full advantage of it's capabiities.

Same here. The Open Feit thing has a quite 'unique' style that just doesn't fit many games' themes. They should go for a more simple design and just leave it as a normal text option and not the actual design..mrkgoo said:I'm starting to hate open feint to the point of considering NOT to get games if they have it, in protest. Ah, I've never played it to be honest, but Words With Friends is great so I assumed...Kryten said:Wow - I was just reading the reviews for this and it couldn't be worse - so many one star reviews following some "performance enhancements".
