I bought it and enjoyed it. Price is a little high for what you get, but I had never bought a Cooking Mama title before so I thought it was worth the money.

I'd be really interested though how it compares to the DS version. Can you say something about the modes, number of recipes etc. ?

Tonight I'm going to upload my first app to the store. Waiting for the spanish translations as of now (I do have SIX languages in it). :D

Congrats. Keep us posted :)
Btw, I activated yesterday my membership to the dev program :)
I hope to publish my first game in about a month, it just need some gameplay tweaks, music and a couple of animations.

Anyone know if there is a version of Hexic available?

Trism or Hexspin are probably the closest although they are different.

Creator of Trism said:
Hexic is the property of another company. I wouldn't feel right about making a direct ripoff of it, but if they ever asked me to do an iPhone port of it, I wouldn't turn them down.

But yeah, of course I know Hexic! It was a major inspiration for Trism. I created certain features like starwalking and starshines especially with Hexic fans in mind. I even originally had a white trism, which behaved similarly to Hexic's silver star.

I talked extensively with the hardcore Hexic community about puzzle design while I was making Trism. Since then they're repeatedly asked me to port Trism to XBox. hehehe :)

I'll add them to the action game genre roundup later but there are two new vertical shooters on the platform.

According to some pages back. Only 15 recipes. and its 7.99 (6.99?) IMO not worth it.

Yeah, Carmack said so in an interview with MTV Multiplayer a few weeks back.

Aren't we supposed to get both Orcs And Elves 2, Doom RPG and Wolfenstein RPG ?

That's all I want to play really lol

.

Opal's Quest = stay far far away. Its simply terrible. Worse than my possible dreams. I couldn't even talk to the first character. What's even worse is that there's an on screen control pad that's not even shown in the screen shots on the store...and its vertically stretched and doesn't register properly. I've had buyer's remorse on some apps before, but this time its buyer's rage (should have waited for any reviews...)

Just a heads up.

Well looks like a busy schedule.. If you are doing it in your spare time. :D

As for myself, I've submitted my music app yesterday night. This evening it's all about kicking ass online with my sons at Mario Kart.

It pisses me off that there's no decent Tetris on the iPhone. Tris was greatness compared to that crap EA is selling.

Has anyone posted any impressions of the RPG game "The Quest"? I saw this on here for $5.99 but wasn't quite ready to bite although it does look interesting.

Last I checked it wasn't ported to the 3G after Apple pulled it from the App store.

Has that changed?

If it is on Cydia, what's the source?

"ported"? it doesn't work that way.

FYI, if you download it once and you keep it on your computer, in iTunes, you can ALWAYS keep it, even if Apple removes it from the store. The app will not go away

If you deleted it yourself after downloading it, then you're stuck since you can't redownload it (since it's been removed from the store)

That being said, Apple can "kill" any app remotely. They have never used this function, not even for the tethering app.

Google has the exact same function in place within Android.

Zombieville USA received it's 1.1 update earlier, the graphics have taken a hit (mistake or change, dunno) but it feels smoother on my touch, new zombie types and now there is easy, normal and insane modes.

I grabbed Pink Slip since I like racing games, was browsing the advertised app's and saw it on offer for £1.79, why not I said. Fun game and I like the drifting but the volume even on max is quiet, maybe it will be louder with my earphones in.

Bounce On also received it's update earlier and world 3 is available, only played one level as I accidently quit out of the world after pausing so i'll go back and play it properly later on.

Fastlane had an update but no idea what changed, seems the same to me.

I also got around to trying out alpine racer lite, it was all looking good until I started playing and oh my... it put's the iDevice to shame!

Topple Too (I guess renamed Topple Too to Topple 2) has been announced for months. But nice to see some screens and info on it.

Is the WiFi VS online? I Still can't figure out if Wordfu's wifi is online or not :lol

Either way I have bought every ngmoco game and I can't wait for this one. :D

Is iTunes store acting up for anyone else? It keeps telling me that either my pwd is incorrect or that the store is unavailable, on both the iPhone store and in iTunes.

This game is pretty cool..

http://appshopper.com/games/eliss

Eliss is a groundbreaking multi-touch game. Your job is to keep up harmony in an odd universe made of blendable planets. Touch-control multiple planets at once, join them together into giant orbs or split them up into countless dwarf planets, and match their size with the squeesars. Wipe off the stardust, resist to the attraction of the vortex and other space phenomena, and slow down the passage of time. Each of the 20 levels will require creative ways and strategies in using your fingers. Warm up your hands, you’re up for some serious finger gymnastics in the bizarro galaxy.

---

I guess I'll grab Oregon Trail in a bit.

Anyone else tried Flight Control? You have to drag flight paths for planes and copters that enter the airspace of your airfield, can get pretty hectic, only 59p (99c) still I think too.

It really is. Great graphics, fun classic gameplay, and great touch screen based minigames.

My one complaint is that the load times are a bit distracting, even if they aren't all that bad. It's a small issue--I still hgihly recommend it.

I didn't like it. Everything looks the same, and the not-so-animated way you move and turn along with the limited draw distance makes orientation rather difficult. I am certain we will see a good first-person RPG eventually, but this is really, really not it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The autosave system seems weird too -- I chopped up a dead buffalo, crossed a river, and was about to harvest some berries when I killed the game to send a text. The game ended up restarting me at the point before I found the dead buffalo. Not a huge deal but it would be nice if it autosaved after every event.

Zombieville USA has just been updated:
  • gets an option screen for difficulty levels
  • A pause button near the life bar
  • The shoot button is still invisible but it's much bigger and more responsive, makes gun play far more useable

jailbreak it, there's so many cool features to unlock with that (video recording, themes, icon categories, emulators, etc) :D

Show me some of these cool things of which you speak, I remain unconvinced.
