Why don't the developers of EDGE come up with a more clever title? I'd support a game titled Not That Mediocre Edge Game: The Good one for iPhone.

Tempy said:That still has "Edge" in it, and history has shown that Langdell goes after everything with Edge in it.
At this point it'd suck to have to change the name, as the game has made its name (pun intended) already through various positive reviews and word of mouth. Langdell did not pursue the matter when the game first popped up, but only when the game had already made its mark. This is undoubtedly to increase the chances that the "violator" will feel compelled to fork over money.
Same with "Edge of Twilight" only now being harassed, and not during the two years people have been aware of it; exactly because it's nearing its publishing date.
This man isn't in it to protect the games he made/is making (lol), but purely for moneygrubbing reasons.
What exactly is IGDA good for again?

9 days since it was submitted to apple for approval.Shaneus said:No Pinball Fantasies yet![]()

Cheers. Was going to buy it originally, but for some reason decided to hold off because it wasn't a priority......pleased I can at least give it a go now.Khanage said:For the lazy... Here's the itunes link

If you never got the full version, make sure to get this before it too is taken down.

Honestly I think if enough people complained to Apple about this very thing you might get your money back or at least force Apple into having better policies.centracore said:Well shit. I bought Edge when it was first released, beat it and then deleted it. I was going to download it again but didn't get to it in time, so now I can't download a game I rightfully paid for and own.
DJ_Lae said:Is Edge just gone from the US store? It still seems to be up in the Canadian one...at least, I can view the game's page.
Got the Lite version, and I'm tempted to buy the full one if it is going to disappear.
how are the customization options or did they get stripped from the game?HBP said:Early Power Pro's impressions, it definitely feels like Power Pros, the hitting is fun, you tap when you want to swing, for a big swing you tap and then slide up. Pitching is kinda boring, you just choose your pitch and a location no velocity settings that I can find thus far.

No customization. Only 6 teams. Maybe you can trade later in the season but I doubt it.hyp said:how are the customization options or did they get stripped from the game?
App's are the biggest battery eater so yes that is right, but do not worry you still get 30+ hours for music and 20+ for video and browsing etc, just remember that app's are power hungry.superbank said:Fuck Langdell. I didn't get a chance to buy Edge.I second renaming it LEdge.
I recently got a 16gb ipod touch and I'm wondering if my battery is borked? I did a test by playing 40 minutes of games (a few minutes of labyrinth lite than geodefense lite) and now the battery is 2/3 full. Is that normal? Doesn't seem practical for everyday use.
edit: and yeah I did everything to reduce battery usage. (no wifi no push etc.)

Well, Ledge is certainly a good name for the game. I really don't get why they just don't swallow their pride and rename the game.
Well apparently they were going to rename it Edgy at one point...but they asked him if that'd be ok first (facepalm) and he refused, then he trademarked that one too.jonnybryce said:Well, Ledge is certainly a good name for the game.
