Anyone get Puzzle Bobble yet?
Supposedly came out on 31 Aug. 600 yen on Japan store.

Very tempted but can't get it via 3G anyway as it's 16MB.

Hi, I am the developer of Avoid Hitting Piano... just a small One-Button game introducing Beethoven jumpman... I am planning on some updates with more running and jumping composers. I could not find the GAF thread for iphone dev's ... I am expecting to sell nothing, though... the Itunes store is overcroweded, and I am adding my part to the noise :lol

hm.. if you tell me which code you used, I will remove it from above list... the one interesting part of Avoid Hitting Piano is that the music is getting faster and faster every 10 seconds... (it has a good and a bad ending :lol )

There's a lite version out too.

They're the same idea just one has planes, the other has boats. They're both 99 cents too, but I figured I'd ask. I'll start with Flight Control, and probably end up with both.

Similar idea, to be sure, but besides being water based:

1) Your score is based on cargo unloaded, not boats docked which means a big 4 cargo freighter is a lot more valuable than a little 1 cargo speed boat.

2) You not only need to guide the ships in to dock, but you'll then need to guide the emptied ships back off the map (thankfully it doesn't matter which side of the screen but you need to make sure you don't bump any ships coming onto the map).

3) The game has 6 maps with each one featuring some cute unique game mechanics (one has cyclones, one has pirates, the latest even introduces a tentacled horror that will make one of your docks useless until fought off). The developers definitely have a flair for the surreal and fun as opposed to trying to introduce REALISTIC aspects.
 
So I asked a week ago or so about maybe getting a Ipod Touch, and a poster said to wait for the new announcements coming, will it be a new version of the iphone and the ipod touch, because I don't like my Blackberry very much and I reallly want Apps!:lol Do they usually announce them in September or October!?



Also I live in a smmmmmaaalll town, and was wondering if there was some map the shows 3G support!?

What kind of crazy man logic is this?

Ignoring that the firmware is $10 and it'll already have it installed so you don't need to pay for it, the iPhone is minimum $70 per month on top of the $200-300 subsidized price.

Anyway the current iPod touches are $230-400, I'm guessing they'll stay in a similar price range while doubling up capacity.

I noticed that too. I use Windows and my app icons have the rounded corners, so I don't know what the deal is with his screenshot.

And if you buy an iPod Touch now, you get 3.0. You don't have to pay for it. It's CRAZY, how Apple ships the software that they have out right now on the device.

How are you supposed to claim the code? I ended up buying your game by accident on iTunes. :P Would be good to know for next time.

Actually, I don't believe that's true. I think the iPod touches ship with 2.2.

Actually, I never claimed a code, but somewhere in the itunes store start page there is an option to enter a code...

Man i would LOVE it if Deja Vu was ported to iphone. Loved that game. Id take Shadowgate and The Uninvited as well

Damnit, looks like i'm buying new games again :lol about to grab Rolando 1 also as it is half price.

I just sync'd my ipod touch with my pc for the 3rd time (windows reinstals since RC) and it's taken 3 of my 5 pc sync thingys, since I forgot to remove the older 2 can I do this in any way? they were both from using windows 7 RC on this same pc. Doesn't matter if so as I still have 2 more and now and a format won't be due for a long time.

Once you have used all five authorizations, a "Deauthorize All" option becomes available.

Thanks, I feel safe because of that.

Hm rolando 1 is still waiting for that 1.8 update, might hold off playing it until it hits so I can add to my Plus+ while I play.

Sorry guys I didn't know, I just seen that thread a few days ago, I'm not in the loop at all really for Apple stuff, I just may get one or the other in a few weeks!
 
iPod touch can get internet, but not via a cell network - you need a wifi connection.

That said, DO NOT buy any device until you see what Apple does on September 9.

And as far as I know, the Touches do not have 3.0 pre installed.

Deja Vu would be a perfect fit for the iphone! I still have my gameboy colour version of deja vu 1 & 2 (but no hardware capable of playing it anymore :lol )
 
IGN is reporting that South Park MegaMillionaire is out but I don't see it on my iphone. GUYS, I don't see it!! Where is it??

I still kept my GBA SP just for Metroid II and DejaVu 1-2. Id love to see it. I also never played Shadowgate, which my cousin told me was awesome. I did play and finish Shadowgate 64 which was ok.
 
mr. driller is awesome IF you set it to tilt controls with 'default down' turned on. that way, you just tilt left/right and tap that one button on the screen. i could see if others have problems with the controls on screen, but with my settings this is a fantastic port. it has different play modes and even has a sound test jukebox. totally buy it.

Tilt is terrible. I can't drill above me no matter how hard I try.
