Did anyone else think Modern Combat was/is pretty challenging? Sometimes I just think I should switch to easy, shootouts can be very tough. Not blaming it on controls or the iPhone, I just wish I had more health.
Also, not a game but I'm happy to see A Perfect Browser 2 is climbing up the charts (#12 in Utilities right now). It's a cool browser that lets you go full screen, lock orientation, and has a scrollbar for people who are sick and tired of having to flick and flick and flick and flick...now I can just press down. It replaced Safari on my dock.

The tabs are kinda ugly but you can make them go away, as for the icons and everything else I don't see what's so ugly about it. You can go fullscreen so it doesn't matter, but in the end I love the browser for things it can do that Safari can't, not for what it looks like.

On a random find note, I came across a very simple but well executed game...

it's basically people riding an elevator and you have to tap the screen when you arrive to a floor. each level uses different methods of floor types. simple but very well executed, especially the art style.
and the good news? It's free for this weekend!

I agree. To be honest, I did need a platform for bite sized play since I want to randomly play stuff for a min I can just in a burst but not longer than 5 min, so this is perfect.
random question and dont answer if you don't want to: what's the status of the iSR rating fiasco? I gave a 5 star review last week for it due to my distaste for what has been happening as well as it deserving 5 stars automatically

It's on going.. in fact when I posted a link to the post I made here over on TA we saw one day boost of 10 1-star ratings. lol.. :lol The 1 for 1 has continued since.
It's pretty absurd really. I do have to give props to the good people of GAF who supplied us with nearly ten 4 and 5 star reviews to help out. As a result it prompted a write-up in iTunes the next day "wondering where all these reviews are coming from". :lol (they quickly made up the 10 positive scores as well with 1s and 2s.
Getting back to the important stuff.
The best part about this platform is finding the gems. Something like I Dig It! that's now given me hours of enjoyment for so little a cost. From a creative stand point too.. we're getting to see a lot of unique ideas get the recognition they would have otherwise never gotten. Stuff like Enviro-Bear, Spider, etc.
The hate from that other thread is just hilarious.

Memovator is really nice, cool relaxing atmosphere, but my god its deceptive, that one gets hard fast.

I like the types of game where you have one skill from beginning to end, and you just learn to use it as best you can (games like Punch-Out for example). I seemed to have learned everything I can do so far, and it's just the enemies that continue to evolve and change. A lot of fun.
