Smells faintly of rancid stilton.

Thanks to some help from special guest referee Chris Jericho, Carlito defeated WWE Champion John Cena on RAW in a non-title match last week. With the win, Carlito earned himself a rematch with Cena, but this time the WWE Championship will be on the line. RAW GM Eric Bischoff said it was the beginning of the end for Cena last week. Will Bischoff get his way and have a new WWE Champion crowned? Will it be Carlito facing Chris Jericho at SummerSlam instead of Cena? All of these questions will be answered Monday night on RAW.

Also, Mr. McMahon will have a major announcement during tonight's show.

Plus, last week Eugene made a shocking return to RAW and participated in the Angle Invitational. The lovable Superstar accomplished what no one had been able to do on either SmackDown! or RAW over the last year – he defeated Angle to win his Olympic Gold Medal. Now that he has conquered the Angle Invitational, the new Olympic Gold Medalist will be hosting the Eugene Invitational. Be sure to tune in to RAW for this one.

Leyla won immunity by winning the Hot Dog Eating Contest last week on RAW. As a result, she can not be voted out of the RAW Diva Search this coming week. But Kristal, Summer, Elisabeth, and Ashley are still vulnerable to the vote. Next week, the Diva hopefuls will participate in the Queen of the Mountain contest. Who will be the next contestant going home? Tune in to RAW next week to find out.

Hmm maybe the Major announcement will be Hassan returning to RAw.....I doubt it...

Your Fired....

Former WWF star Chris "Tatanka" Chavis is backstage at the Raw taping at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. Given that he isn't local to the area and word was going around over the weekend that WWE was trying to track him down, it's likely he's going to be involved in some fashion on Raw tonight.

oh yea
stfu gg

Great scott...

Oh...my...god. I have to watch RAW tonight now. I have no idea how he could ever be involved, but I guess he could be from wherever the show is. Fantastic.

If him came out in the Tatanka character, I would mark out bad.....and if Shawn Micheals superkicked him, I would most likely scream like a school girl....

it's either going to be one of 3 things...

Formally announcing a Edge vs Hardy match at Summerslam

Formally announcing the return of Brock Lesnar...we all know he signed the contract

Formally announcing the move back to USA

Yeah but if you read the preview I posted in the original post it does not seem the Divas are doing much tonight..it talks about next week, usually WWE.com tells exactly what the Divas do in the preview, but not this time So maybe it will be short.

Well, as a point of note, the show is at an Indian casino (Mohegan Sun) so a horribly racist Eugene Invitational opponent is always an option.

blah...

From Tatanka's official website:

"Yes... for those of you who may have noticed, Chris will be participating on WWE programming tonight... most likely in the Masterlock Challenge segment. Stay tuned here for more news in the next few days!"

Okay, so maybe in an overtly racist Masterlock Challenge segment. Either way, good times.

:lol :lol :lol

I can imagine JR's, King's, and the crowd's reaction.

JR "OH MY GAWD!"
King "What!? It can't be!"
Crowd "::silence::"

Not even Bret Hart submitting to the Master Lock will put Chris Masters over! STOP IT WWE, HE SUCKS AND HAS THE CHARISMA OF A COUCH!

Since when did Brock sign?
He was offered a contract last week.

I predict the first contestant in the Eugene Invitational is... Kurt Angle. The second will of course be... "Burt Mangle" which will later be revealed as Kurt Angle wearing a wig.

I hope they go the route of him wearing diffrent Masks.....

Coach could say something like..".this next guy to challange Eugene is a huge star in Mexico.."

he can later be revealed as Kurt...

Didn't they already do the mask thing with Angle? I could've sworn they did, but I don't remember the storyline behind it.

My guess is that Vince will come out to announce that RAW has surpassed "Gunsmoke" in producing "the most original episodes of any weekly fictional entertainment program ever on television", with it's 636th episode. Which has enough qualifiers to make it true, sound important, and give Vince a reason to strut around the ring for a few minutes.

They need to bring back that tiny cowboy hat kurt wore a long time ago in an angle with Stone Cold if i remember right. Ive never laughed so hard at kurt wearing that with a smile on his face. I wish still had a picture of that

Yes they did....when Angle was GM of SD and he was wrestling as the great Mexican champ..EL Luchador or something. It was right after Eddie won the title and Angle was "injured" cause of Big Show snapping.

Rob Schneider, star of Deuce Bigalow 2, will serve as special official for the Queen of the Mountain competition tonight on RAW.

For those who have queried with regards to the "Queen Of The Mountain" competition, its reported that it will feature the contestants battling with pugel sticks while standing on top of pedestals (ala American Gladiators), with the Diva getting knocked off losing.

Well, looks like I won't be watching Raw tonight!

I wonder if WWE will actually acknowledge Matt and do a vignette of the entire Matt Hardy/Lita/Edge saga. They would be smart to do so. If the vignette is as good as their stuff in the past, the heat for the match will be massive. I have a fear that when Matt is actually acknowledged and given the mic, he will end up sounding like a whiney bitch how got his girl stolen from him.

Do what I do....Tivo it and scan right past the DIVA bullshit.

I wouldn't stop there. I probably on average fast forward through at least 50% of Raw and Smackdown. Diva search shit after I've got a look at the titties, and then the rest of the boring as all fuck maineventers and other horrible matches.

Jesus, when does TNA start up on Spike again?
