The One Plus 8 Pro is an awesome phone.

I can't recommend this Android phone enough. The screen runs at 1440p at 120hz and I'm getting great battery life. It is a real headturner at work. Literally every single person who sees the screen walks away impressed, even S20 owners. The camera is up there with the current Galaxies in my opinion and their version of Android is more streamlined than Samsung. Really zippy, really fast. Plus, I love getting updates almost as fast as Pixel phones. I feel like I bought the perfect phone. It has this dense premium feel in the hand that has to be felt to be believed.

How much did it cost?

I had to get an LG Aristo 5 a couple weeks ago after my old phone was dying. Cost $104 with tax and all.

Even if it gave blowjobs and farted THC I'd probably have to say no. Something that expensive doesn't get brownie points for being good. It's expected, mandatory even.

The phone is balls deep in S20 territory. Hmmm, should I buy a phone from a company that has been around for decades, known for being a leader in the Android phone space for years? Or do I pay the same price for this Chinese phone from a company that isnt even a decade old and known for their "budget" phones.

OnePlus 6 user here. Still extremely impressed with the speed. The camera is seriously one of the best, huge professional quality pics. I don't mean to bash on iPhone users (my whole family), but they constantly say the pictures I take are so much more detailed and vibrant than theirs when we go out to parks and nature trails and stuff together. Love it. The 6 hasn't failed me in any regard yet... the battery is still strong and I can go a solid day without even thinking about charging (and you know I'm on GAF 24/7 lol). The customization is also great, I love messing around with the widgets and re-organizing the apps. I've been using the 6 since 2018 and haven't really felt the need to upgrade yet. It's a no-brainer device if you're comfortable with Android, and depending on the storage option, you can save a ton of money on a slightly older model.

My last 3 phones were one plus stuff, but the last one i had (oneplus 7) was probably born wrong from the beginning and always had some problems, i choose to look around for other brands after i'm done with this one.

Also one plus phones have a well known problem with chrome, it crash like crazy in these devices in the last 2 years, i don't know if yours suffer from this, but one plus didn't fixed this and users on the web are furious.

Mine was the 12GB RAM version for $999 on Amazon. its very competitive with the Ultra line up from Samsunng and the Iphone Pro Max. I can't imagine owning anything else after playing with my friends phones and going back to mine. Literally everyone at work is jealous of the screen.

Do you work for Oneplus?
What are you talking about? He's just sharing his own personal thoughts on what an amazing bargain the OnePlus series and how much people would enjoy it! Now excuse me, I'm off to enjoy a delicious slice of pizza from the masters themselves at Pizza Hut, which was delivered in a very timely manner for a good price and they had soo many toppings to choose from.

I used to love Oneplus, but my Oneplus 7 pro literally melted from the inside and the battery popped the entire case open. I tried to get it replaced under the warranty but they fucking used the excuse that it wasn't covered because I left the phone charge overnight while I slept. Apparently those motherfuckers wake up 4 hours into their sleep to unplug their phones.

Fuck them. Worst customer service I've experienced.

Dont go over 60% screen brightness for long periodes. I got burn-in on my 7 pro. All the upper icons...
I contacted OnePlus for this issue. They responded the next day saying i could send back the phone for repairs within warranty. i thought that was pretty cool of them.

Waiting for my 6t to be repaired. Using an iPhone in the meantime. Was kind of hoping I would fall back in love with iOS. I’m surprised how far android has come. I prefer it. Looks nicer (To my surprise everything as far as aesthetics like the App Store and email just look better on android), navigates better, even more intuitive.

It’s a shame one plus has lost its vision on flagship phone at nearly half price. Just another $ phone now

The upcoming Zenfone 7 looks great, should perform similary, and has a 90Hz AMOLED with HDR10+. Should be about 50% cheaper than the OnePlus 8 Pro too
