Yeah it's not really a spoiler in anyway, it's not like he stated what was being reused and everything.

I wanna do a different predicition, screw predicting review scores, I wanna guess how big this thread is gonna end up lol. I say 70 pages at 100ppp, shit we already at Page 7 in like an hour with 1 review!

I don't mind some QTEs, and cutscenes, but I hope it is more than just 7 hours long.
That sounds just as short as SSO campaign, and this is a linear game, so there won't be much to do after you complete it.
 
The suggestion that a boss encounter features animations of any quality isn't a spoiler unless you subsequently turn it into one.

If any reviewer gives Tomb Raider a higher score than Uncharted 4 there will be Twilight Princess level riots.

What I mean is that being a cinematic game (and an exclusive) I understand why people will be jerks and want it to fail.

But being a new IP, nobody has any prior history with it and thus shouldn't be that invested in it being good.
 
7 hours from first review makes me somewhat relieved. I'm getting it no-matter what but hopefully the 5 hour trolls will back off a tad

People seem to think that low scores would cause the most meltdowns. But I think there's more people expecting/wanting failure than those expecting/wanting success.

Feels like this thread's fate is already written.
 
Incase you can't tell from my post history, I think this game is going to be gud.

Has a review thread ever made it to a second thread?

Most of the cases people are willing to forgive, fairly or not, tend to be very dense, highly fun games, even at $60 (see: Metal Gear Rising or Bayonetta.) Doubly reinforced with the angle of replaying to master, but man I think MGR was enough of a thrill at $60.

This one sounds like it's OK shooting with a good story, and I prefer to get those for cheaper. It's also why I

Not really lol. I mean ya, it is legitimate to be mad about the exclusivity, but at Squeenix not at Microsoft. They just took the smart deal and now have a game to go up against Uncharted. A better game maybe, as I thought Tomb Raider did Uncharted better than Uncharted.

It's a thread that's supposed to be about the quality of the game. People have said they were disappointed by that, so it's completely relevant in this thread. I'm going to take an early guess and say that lots of reviews are going to have complaints about it being anti climactic.

Bloodborne's review thread will be epic from all the circle jerking (probably well deserved lmao)

U4 and Halo 5 I agree but the "sense" of anticipation in a weird way won't match The Order I think. More positivity for those games.

TR will be interesting like you say, the salt from exclusivity will maybe mean some want it to fail I guess :/
