The fact that the windows installation for the device still installed bloatware like Microsoft Teams on a gaming device, and couldn't be bothered to make a preset that just included gaming-centric apps only <shakes head>.
If they wanna compete with portables, they HAVE to fix the windows sleep issue. If the Steam Deck could create a suspend state that sucks up less battery, saves your currently loaded game to memory, and boots on/off in seconds....they should be able to figure it out as multi-trillion worth company.
Also, with the Steam Deck patching in downloads that turn the screen off and then sleep after being done...absolutely think Valve will get full background game downloads working on Linux before Microsoft does it on Windows.
